I'm so excited!

In less than an hour, we're going to be on our way to Florida. I can't believe it finally got here. I feel like a little kid getting ready to open Christmas presents! :yay:

As you can see, I'm taking a leisurely three days to get there. We're stopping at Panama City Beach on our way down for two nights. DH has never seen the ocean so it's something we've got to do.

I'm bringing my laptop with me so I should be able to post updates with pictures while we are down there.

Well, gotta run!

Hope you have a safe trip. PC is really nice and hopefully not too crowded right now.

Congratulations! You survived an interminable wait and now, YOURE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD! Have a blast!

:santa:

I hope you and your family have a 'Very' safe trip and enjoy your time at WDW! We are also heading south to FW and plan to leave this Wednesday. Our plans are to stop in Orange Park for a couple of days and leave Saturday morning for Disney.

Safe Travels ........... Doug / datgrt@fw

We will be right behind you! Leaving tomorrow morning unless something ELSE goes wrong around here.

I hope everyone has a great time! We will eagerly awaiting trip reports from both of you, lorac4disney and tnbob! :)

GREAT for all you folks headed to the Fort. Weather looks excellent for the coming week. A few showers likely Thurs. and Fri. but not much else. The mornings have been beautiful lately especially for June. Actually a little cool by Florida standards, high 60's.

Have a blast all and of course be safe and don't forget the TR's.:banana:

And everyone have a GREAT time ! :thumbsup2

I realize it's a little out of the way, but would anyone mind swinging by, picking me up and taking me with you? :lovestruc

All of you have fun and safe trips!

Thanks Stacktester. PCB is absolutely gorgeous! I've already been down on the beach this morning picking up seashells. Everyone is so friendly here. We went out to eat last night at Hunt's Oyster Bar. Very first time eating oysters and I absolutely LOVE them! DH was the only other one brave enough to try one. Bless his heart, I'm not sure he liked them so well, but he managed to get it down.

Shan-man, I think the wait was killing me. Tomorrow, we are heading on into Kissimmee for a very cheap overnighter before going early to the Fort.

datgrt@fw, have a safe trip. I've never been to Orange Park. Let us know how it is.

Tnbob, thinking of you this morning. Hope everything goes well. Maybe we'll meet up at the Fort. Our golf cart will be the one with lime green flags with Musket Mickey on them.

Minnie&Mickey, gotta do the trip report. I know how much I drooled over each and every one I read during my wait.

Thanks liv luvs disney. It's been a long time coming.

Thank you, FlaFortCampster. It was a little cool this morning. DD put on her light windbreaker for the beach walk. Wish I had done the same. The waves caught me off guard a couple of times (okay, it was more than a couple but you would think that after a couple of times, I would have figured it out, lol). I quickly got soaked. I'm kind of hoping it does rain a little. Thins out the crowds nicely. Just hope I don't melt! :rotfl:

Born 2 Fish, gotta have the fishing. Just isn't a trip without it. Unfortunately, DH was suppose to pack the fishing poles and didn't. Not to worry though. We will just have to rent them! Might do that when I swindle, er I mean sweet talk, DH into renting a pontoon boat. There were fish jumping everywhere this morning and I didn't have a pole! The agony! :scared1:

webbmom, congratulations on your first trip! I'm excited for you! :yay: Hopefully we'll see you there. We're spending a good chunk of our first day looping and such.

LOL iluvstitch. It might be a little bit of a journey, but maybe we can swing it! :rotfl: While I'm there, can we pick up some sushi? I really love the stuff.

DaveInTN, so far it's starting out great! I am so glad we decided to take our time getting down here and use this day as a way to get into vacation mode. My 16 yo son and 16 yo nephew are in full babe alert mode, LOL!

Well, gotta go put on my bathing suit. :scared1:
