We are leaving Sunday for our first trip to WDW. We will have dd9mos with us. It's amazing how much stuff we have to pack. Is there anything major I could be forgetting? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We have our ADR's, garden grocer coming, but I'm afraid of forgetting something!:cool1:

Not knowing anything other than you're ordering groceries and have adr, I'd imagine you aren't forgetting anything.

A couple of things I found helpful while traveling with little ones that I may not have thought about before:
We bought the disposable bibs and were so glad we did. Just threw them away when we were done with them. Did the same with the disposable baby spoons.
We brought a little cooler for the baby food and bottles and used it.
Mine were very attached to their pacifiers and we brought alot.
I bought those plastic links with us and attached all sorts of things to the stroller with them. I made sure the stroller had a bunch of little chew toys and musical toys attached with the links, too. Gave them something to do but made it difficult for it to get thrown and lost when we were walking.
I make sure I bring a towel into the parks. For surfaces that are hot, to cover the stroller so it doesn't get hot, to provide extra shade if baby is sleeping, and to wipe things off in case of a blow out or playing in the water.
I buy and bring a variety of ziploc bags. There are probably a million and one uses for them.
Two "things" we bought with no. one and REALLY REALLY used are a car seat bag/carrier and the break-down baby/toddler chairs. When DS1 was a baby, these were pretty much only available at specialty stores, but now you can get them just about anywhere. The car seat bag/carrier made it easier to transport and carry the car seat. We almost always gate check it (long story for another post). Plus, it keeps the car seat clean. Plus, there is alot of empty space that we can toss in things like jackets/blankets/etc. into before getting on the plane. My DH thought I was crazy when we took DS1 to WDW when he was 16 months (but not yet walking, he was preemie and had delays) and I brought the travel seat. We were staying onsite and wouldn't have a table, etc. But, he agreed that it was a lifesaver. We sat him in it for breakfast, we sat him in it and gave him toys to play with while we packed and unpacked. He was crawling all over the place otherwise.
I always bring a few bath toys.
When I go to the parks, I always bring a bottle of bubbles. Great for waiting times. We typically get lots of attention at the parades, in particular, but I've found it useful when waiting at a table while the other parent gets CS or needs to be in line for food or shopping. Very entertaining for lots of ages.

If I think of anything else, I'll let you know. Sounds like so much fun! We took our DS1 when he was 16months, DS2 to DLR when he was 6 months and DD when she was 13months and honestly, they are some of my favorite trips!

Thank you so much for all the tips. Bubbles and bath toys weren't on the list. See, I knew I would forget something if not for the wisdom of dis'ers!! I hope we have a great time. Thanks again!!

Extra batteries AND extra memory card if you have a digital camera!

We first travelled to the World when DD was just 5 months. Hard to believe all the stuff we brought so I feel for you. We've been 4 x since then and we leave Wednesday:banana: for 6 nights. A couple of years ago we were the couple with two toddlers - 2 strollers - and 2 car seats on our backs walking thru MCO. LOL we must have looked crazy! Anyway, I think WDW rocks for kids any age. At 5 month my DD was fascinated and was good for the first time! We had been struggling with severe colic and this was the 1st time we saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Good times! Anyway:
1. A small baby blanket for the pack and play. They don't provide them.
2. Extra bags for poopy diapers. The plastic bags in the trashcans are not that heavy and there can be an odor. I reused some plastic bags from the grocery that worked well. If you forget you can get a hand full of extra bags from mousekeeping.
3. The small presoaped dish cloths you get from grocery stores. I used them to wash binky's, bottles, and sippy cups. Plus they were good to wash DH and my refillable mug.
4. We got a cheap "mister" from Kmart that we filled with ice water before we left for the parks. It beat paying $20 for one in the World. I used it to mist off the kiddles when it was smoking hot. Sometimes its hard to remember how hydrated and comfortable the little guys need to be. DD made the cutest faces when I "misted" her but she loved it!!!!
Have a great time. Like the last poster said - bring extra memory cards because you will get priceless pics!

Bring zip lock bags in all sorts of sizes, you can use them for so many things like putting a real wet washcloth in one for big messes. Wipes can be rough and irritating on their skin. We also brought bigger ones for accidents. I also brought a small container of dish soap to wash out the bottles and sippy cups you can use them for their toys as well. I also brought another small container (the ones you use for shampoo in the travel section of a store) filled with laundry detergent for stains, anything I needed to hand wash during my trip. It was a good thing I brought it because my youngest DS threw up his lunch all over his shirt. I was not about to take that stinky shirt home. I washed it when we got back to the hotel.

FYI- I'm sure you know this but just in case. There is a baby station in each park where you can go to rest, feed the baby and get basic supplies (for a cost) just in case you forget something back at the hotel.

I am also leaving on Sunday!! Good Luck and I hope you have lots of fun, I'm sure you'll be just as addicted to WDW as the rest of us, especially after this trip!:lmao:

Thanks again!! I have completely, obsessively planned for this trip. We are going again in July! I've got the bug! I lived in southern Cali growing up, so I've been to Disneyland several times but never to the World. My hubby is a first timer!!
