I checked the 10 day forecast and several days of our trip says "showers" - should I be worried? Never been in February before but in the summer "showers" means nothing because it can rain one minute and be sunny the next.

Help! I don't want to be rained out.

The weather forecast here changes every few min. right now it's raining here in North Flordia but it should be gone in a.m. A few days ago we where to have rain for two days....We just have so many different factors here in Florida...Just pack your parka's and come on down...It might be a little cooler but you'll have a great trip. Todays High 83 now at 11:00p.m. it's 70... (but after the rain comes thru we are going to have a cold front?? They say it's going to be 27 Sunday Morning) Looks like you'll have high's in the 70 for your trip.

PamNC, I hope it doesn't rain, but if it does, put a positive spin on it. Think of all the things that you will probably experience for the ~first~ time due to the rain. Like splashing in the puddles as if you were a little kid again. Or running through the children's fountains in the theme parks since you're already soaked from the rain. Or spending a little more time in the theme park shops as you wait for a break in the rain clouds. Or enjoying a more leisurely meal. Or seeing that movie that you've never had the time to enjoy before in China (it's been recently updated) or in France. And don't forget to put on that Mickey Mouse poncho and get a photo taken on Hollywood Blvd in Disney Studios. Or in front of the Tree of Life in the Animal Kingdom. Or in front of Cinderella’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom.

Thanks to you, I've just added four photos to an on-line photo album:
Rain Photo # 1
Rain Photo # 2
Rain Photo # 3
Rain Photo # 4

So, thanks to some rain, I have some unique photos in my photo albums. They happen to be some of my all-time favorite photos. And they fondly remind me of one of my all-time favorite vacations into which a little rain fell.

We were at WDW once when a tropical storm came through. On the positive side of things the parks were so empty we had no problem visiting attractions 2 & 3 times. Our sneakers never dried out the entire trip but we were also able to snag last minute reservations at the Hoop-de-doo and the Luau.

It's funny how I seem to remember that trip the most. The kids didn't care. Just grab a poncho and make the best of it.

I'd rather be there in the rain instead of here.

Pam,
I'm wishing you sunny skies! But bring those extra sneakers just incase. Those soggy shoes can take a long time to dry. Have lots of fun on your trip. If you do get caught in showers and rain, I'm guessing you'd still rather be at WDW than home in sunshine. I know that I would! :)
