We are leaving in 10 days for our first Disney trip. We are driving all day November 1st, have a couple of ADR's Sunday November 2nd & start visiting the parks on November 3rd. We plan 2 days at Epcot, 2 days plus a Christmas party at Magic Kingdom & one day each at Hollywood Studios & Animal Kingdom. We are staying offsite (Windsor Hills I think). Kids are 10, 12 & 14. Any last minute advice for us would be appreciated. Packing tips on what to pack, etc., would also be appreciated! We will be staying 9 nights.

Just don't over do it especially the first couple of days. You are going to be excited and want to do everything all at once. Take time to enjoy the moments and if everything doesn't go exactly to plan it will be ok. If you don't already have them you may want to get the fans that have a sprayer on them, the humidity can take a toll on you if you are not used to it. Have fun!

Why not add a 7th day and see a little bit of the parks on Nov. 2nd? With the ages of your kids, I think I'd only do one ADR that Sunday and go to the parks. It seems like it will be hard for them to wait until Monday to go on rides and adding a seventh day is only $11 more per person. Other than that, I think your planning sounds great! I don't know the link, but there if you search for ultimate packing list for WDW it will help.

Not certain where you are traveling from, but it is still short weather here in Florida. The nights are a little cooler so you might need a light jacket/sweatshirt.

Also if the kids need a little disney on arrival day you could hit DTD or even the monorail resorts. It also might be a good pool day and then a fresh start on Monday.

You say "2 days plus a christmas party" for magic kingdom. Just wanted to make sure you knew that your party ticket gets you in at 4pm (even though the party starts at 7), and you should have almost no wait times during the party for the rides. So... don't spend the morning at MK if you were planning to. Take that day and go to the boardwalk, or DTD, or drive to somewhere Orlando-y, or even use that for Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom (because you don't need a full day at either park right now.)

We're from south MS so used to the humidity! :D We do have a couple of those we can bring just I case although we usually only need them for 90+ temps. :)

Thanks for the tips! We have a 10+ hour drive on Saturday so the drivers are going to need a bit of R & R Sunday. :)

We are planning DTD that morning with a lunch reservation @ T-Rex.

You sound like you've put a lot of thought into the trip. Now just remember to relax and let the magic happen! Have fun :-)
