Leaving Friday...BWV...last minute ?'s

Have been several times but we never have valet parked at BW. May take advantage of it this trip since my parents will be along. I know that the valet parking is free but would like to know what you all think an appropriate tip is?

One more question. We went to the Wal Mart on 192 last time. The drive there was yuck. Not long but felt like we were driving through skid row to get there. The Wal Mart was so, so. I'm not a huge Wal Mart fan but it is nice to get groceries and last minute miscellaneous items in one place. Anyone know if the Wal Mart at Sand Lakes/John Young Parkway is any better? Is it a lot farther away?

Can't help about the Walmart (I usually ask at the toll booth) but I LOVE the valet service. FYI, when you are heading out for the day, call from the room, they will bring the car up and have it ready for you (o.k., so I've become a bit of a snob ). I tip $1 on the way in and out. There are many threads on this with various opinions.

If service is prompt, I tip $2 each way. Many people only tip on the pickup.

We used to go to the Walmart on 192 but on our last 2 or 3 trips have used the Winn-Dixie by Crossroads (turn left at the light at Crossroads). It's closer and cleaner, and not crowded. There's also a new Publix behind the Premium Outlet.

Calling it skid row seems a bit harsh! I'm not saying its Beverly Hills or Long Island, but its hardly an eyesore.

I tipped $1 or $2 each way, depending on the quickness of the service. Sorry I can't help with WalMart information.

You were probably there when they were still constructing in the area - try it again - I think you might be surprised - yes some of those hotels are still pretty bad - but adding the trees has helped - my opinion
