ok, here they are..

1. I've heard that mousekeeping is less frequent. Do we need to worry about bringing extra toilet paper or paper towels?

2. Is there a dishwasher? Do we need to bring dishwasher nuggets or sish soap.. or is it provided?

3. Is there a coffee maker?

4. How many place settings are there in the 2 bedroom villas?

5. Are there extra towels at the beach house?

.. besides the normal vacation requirements, what else do we need to bring to the villas that isn't provided?

I assume you are staying in a 2 br?

*housekeeping is no less frequent than any other DVC resort. You're probably already aware it is not daily? All of your paper products for the villa are included.

*1 and 2 BR units do have dishwasher and soap is provided.

*Yes, coffeemaker with some supplies which is replenished on your trash and towel day.

*however many the room sleeps, there will be that many place settings; 2 br will have 8 settings.

*yes, towels are at the beach house

The villas pretty much have everything in them you need. Just bring lots of money for the activities, groceries, and meals outside the villa, lol.

Mousekeeping is the same as at WDW. If you need extra paper products they will bring them.

2. Is there a dishwasher? Do we need to bring dishwasher nuggets or sish soap.. or is it provided?

Dishwasher detergent is provided.

3. Is there a coffee maker?

Yes, but bring coffee and basket style filters and it is a 12 cup model.

4. How many place settings are there in the 2 bedroom villas?

8 place settings. I like to bring a couple of decent knives, some extra dish clothes and an omelet sized frying pan.

5. Are there extra towels at the beach house?

There will be 8 beach towels in your room to bring to the beach with you.

Are you flying or driving? Driving I just fill up the car with loads of stuff, such as a cosy quilt or throw for the couch, candles (in the enclosed holders for safety), placemats or a tablecloth. My favorite Disney mug for my coffee - the mugs provided are small. Favorite stuffed animals for the kids for sleeping. A few things to cosy up the room.

we're driving. we just invested in the car DVD players for the kids.. not looking forward to the driving. nope nope nope.

We leave for HH on Sept. 7th (our first trip) maybe we will see you there :goodvibes . Have a Great trip!!

Just a quick correction on the beach towels...

Your room will have large beach towels waiting for you -- as many as the maximum occupancy in the villa. (2BR = 8 towels). You will need to bring them with you to the pool or beach. They're much nicer (as they're regular "beach towel" size, not just bath size) than the usual pool towels.

You can wash and reuse them, or if necessary, call housekeeping and ask to trade them out. Or, you can swap them at the rental window at the resort pool or the pool bar at the beach house pool. (It is a swap -- you need to turn in your current towels.)

I still like to bring beach chairs, a blanket, or extra beach towels for actually going to the beach. It's hard to lie on the towel and use it for drying as well. ;)

If you're coffee drinkers, bring extra coffee and filters (basket type, like at other DVC resorts) and salt & pepper, as they no longer provide them in the villas. Shopping is close by, so you can easily pick up whatever you might have forgotten. :goodvibes

We're going down on the 8th. Great place, we use it as a weekend retreat because its so close.

I usually bring 2-3 extra dishwasher nuggets because they only give you two days worth. You only get 1-2 pots of coffee with what they give you, so you may want extra. If you plan on doing laundry don't forget detergent.
We leave for HHI Labor Day.:woohoo:

hi, dh and I will be in HH on sunday, have another couple meeting us there, maybe we'll see ya.
