Leaving for HH a week from Friday!

Dh and I are leaving for our first trip to HH on March 1!! I am so excited.

Just thought I would see if any other DVC/DIS folks will be there at that time!

Also, any recommendations for dining, activities, shopping ,etc would be greatly appreciated!

We plan to go over to Charleston one day and down to Savannah one day as well.

Also, do the 1 bedrooms have VCR's?

You are going to have a great time at Hilton Head, I am sure. Do you plan to do Tommy's treasure hunt? I am hoping there's a coin or two left when we go down in November.

As far as activities go, we enjoyed spending time at the beach house playing ping pong (I know it doesn't take much to please us ). Also we had a good seafood meal at Scott's Fish Market just over the bridge from the resort. A nice game of pool at Big Murgy's Den is fun and we hope to do one of the Dolphin cruises this trip. Oh, and don't forget to relax! Again, hope you have a great trip and that you'll post your experiences when you return.

The 1 bedrooms have a TV in the bedroom and a TV and a VCR in the living room. A fun, but quick trip to Savannah, can be made into a multi-event trip by taking The Spirit of Harbourtown cruise from Harbourtown to Savannah, and then take the trolly tour. The cruise is about $38 with coupon (which will reinburse you for the $5 Sea Pines entrance fee) and the trolly tour is about $20. The only drawback is that it only gives you about four hours or so in Savannah, but the trolly tour hits the highlights.
