Leaving car at resort while on Disney cruise

Scenario as follows :

Staying at Disney resort on Friday, then going on 7 day cruise on the Disney Fantasy, then returning to Disney resort for a 4 day stay. Can we leave our car at the resort and ride the Disney cruise bus to the port and back instead of driving our car there ???

I do not think they will allow you to leave your car at the resort for a week. At some resorts there is not many spots for the people that are currently staying there. It will also cost you $70/rt/pp for the transfers. It would be cheaper to drive your vehicle and pay for parking at the port.

How many people traveling? Probably cheaper to drive your car and perk there. Also, then you control what time you get there.

I know you didn't ask this but thought this might help. If you want to pack your stuff for your resort stay in a separate bag, you can leave it with bell services so you don't have to transport it to the cruise, store it, then transport it back. We did this in 2009 since we had the same resort stay before and after and helped quite a bit not having to deal with that extra luggage for the week while on the cruise.

If you have a resort stay booked both before and after your cruise, WDW will issue a parking pass that expires at the end of your second stay--you have to ask. They will ask that you park rather far out in the lot for the week that you are gone.

Which leads to my big question--WHY? Riding the bus round trip will cost you $70 per person ($35 each way). Using your own car will cost something for gas, about $5 for tolls. Parking at the terminal is $15 per day, but you can park at Park and Cruise for $5.99 (sometimes they have a $4.99 special). This is the "booked in advance" rate, doing it as a drive up is $6.99. SO...parking or a 7 night cruise will be about $55 + gas + tolls + tip for luggage porters. You are EASILY under $100. Watching a DCL movie on the way isn't worth that much!
