Leaving bags on buggies

we bought a cheapie Minnie Mouse buggy from Argos and took it on our trip last week and it was fine, we took proper pushchair in June this year and June last year and had no problems then apart from the time hubby left rucksack on the pushchair when we went on IASW and the rucksack contained passports, euros, room key, camcorder, camera, etc ... I freaked and he nearly had to get our the ride and wade through the water to the pushchair but it was fine which was such a relief.
