Leaving Anaheim on a Friday

We normally leave Anaheim on a Friday at around 9am to 10am heading back to the Bay Area. I know traffic is random, any accident can really change things. Assuming the patterns are similar to up in my neck of the woods, would leaving around noon make any noticeable difference? Potentially buying passes this year, would love to pop in to the parks early Friday before leaving

The later you leave, the heavier the traffic. There will be a difference - somewhere between 15-30 minutes extra drive.

I try to avoid Fridays altogether as that is such a heavy travel day in general. I try to leave by 1PM, 1:30 at the latest and its usually ok, but I am usually heading opposite direction. I guess the good part about leaving later is you will arrive at the bay traffic after the peak.

We did this our last trip and left approx 1pm on a Friday. I would say we spent an extra 45min to 1hr in traffic. Definitely a noticeable difference to when we have left around 10am. I won’t do that again on a weekday.
