When I go to Disney in May, my trip is going to overlap with my sister-in-law's sister's trip. I've having been helping her plan (she's one of those that thought Universal was part of Disney.... :scared: ) and I was thinking of leaving little Disney themed goodie bags for her kid's for their arrival.

Does anyone know if I can go to their resort (POR) before they check-in and leave the package or would it be better if I waited until they checked in? They should get to POR about 12 noon, but I was hoping to leave the package either the night before or early that morning before we go to the parks.

Any suggestions for the bags or the best way to leave them are much appreciated.

Some of us did a Christmas tree swap over the holidays, and many of us just left the tree at the front desk with the name and arrival date of the receivers. Didn't hear of any that didn't make it to their intended destinations.

A wonderful DISfriend picked up something for me, and left it at our front desk 3 days before we arrived. She did have my reservation number, but as soon as the CM pulled up my reservation, she excused herself, went in the backroom, and came back with my package.

No problem at all!

We have left things and had items left for us at the front desk. They have no problem with it as long as the person is actually staying at the resort fairly soon.

It would be helpful if you had their confirmation number, but it is not required. Their have been instances where we were expecting a package, and the Front Desk did not inform us of its arrival. We had to call to find that it had been delivered to the Resort.

Yes it happens all the time at my resort, YC/BC. We just had a large package sitting in the back for several days waiting until a Guest arrived and when she did I went back and got it for her. Make sure you have the name on the reservation and the arrival date on the package. Also when you drop it off the CM should leave a comment on the reservation so that when the Guest arrives the CM who checks them in will know to look for the package.

Just make sure the guest's name on the reservation matxhes the name on your package/envelope. My sister did this last time and put my name on the package. The reservation was under my husband's first name. Something got crossed and I received the envelope two days later.

I left postcards for someone at ASSp and they didn't get them for 2 days. So, it is very helpful if you have a confirmation number.
