I know, I know.......I am way behind on this ?

Tax season and other "life" things have me off track!

Here is the scene: Sat DH, DDs 7 & 5, DInlaws ( 6o something we'll say) and I will be "coming home" on our first DVC trip. While DH, DDs and I have been to Disney, this is first trip for in-laws. The pressure is on:rotfl:

We are staying first 4 nights at BWV and next 4 at OKW. Need a recommendaiton of a room request ( 2 bedroom) or at least awareness for check in for OKW. We want it all.

Spacious accomadations that will be "up to date" and the best location for buses and pool that will serve us best. Have a feeling by day 5 MIL will be having "foot aches' even though we gave her her first ever pair of sneakers for her birthday.

Well.......I am ready......your input please!

Thanks in advance;)

We stayed in 53 in 2bedroom February of 2005. We had my inlaws with us at the time also along with Dnephew. So there was 8 of us altogether. My father in law has a heart condition so he also had an ECV. It was about 3 minutes to the bus stop and there was a portable defribulator there. One of the quiet pools was right around the corner so it was great. Buses run pretty regularly so getting to the hospitality house was not a problem either

Most locations at OKW will meet your requirements, so jsut do like we do....Take what you get, and it will be PERFECT!:goodvibes

Well, I would call and add "first floor or elevator building" to my request if walking up/down steps could be a problem. That's the only request I make at OKW.

PS. Have a most wonderful time!!!!

We stayed in building 63 and found it to be pretty great. We have 3 kids 5,7,10 and they are all about the slide in the hospitality house pool. We were able to walk over quickly and we had no issues with noise or views. We had a great view of the 7th green and the bridge into the resort.

But if the kids are cautious swimmers, then having a close bldg to any of the quiet pools will also do the trick. Put emphasis on proximity to the bus stop.

I had requested to be in the Hospitality House area and would take anything in that general area. We did ride the bus around the resort though and found the whole thing great and certainly there are other "prized" locations preferred like turtle pond.

This was our first trip "home" as new DVC members and also did a split res with BWV. Enjoyed both resorts greatly and for different reasons. That's the magic of the DVC I guess!:lovestruc

We also are in our 60's and one of us has bad knees while the other has a bad back. The stairs really aren't that big an issue because they are low rise type and easy to traverse.
