Leave in 18.5 hours for Disney World!!!

We tomorrow morning for Disney World. I think we are all packed (I hope). I checked out the weather dot com web page for the weather for the next week and each day it says 30-40% chance of thunderstorms each day. I hope that is not for the whole day. I bought rain ponchos for all of us, but was wondering if anyone knows how the rain usually comes this time of year. Is it an hour during the day or something like that? I hope it is not all day every day. This is the kids first trip there and they are excited beyond belief. I am, too.

Anyway, thanks for any weather updates or advice anyone can give me.

First let me say Congrats and .... Im jealous Me and my daughter are going over Labor Day weekend and we cant wait.. I went to WDW in July a few years ago and I remember it raining 2 of the 4 days we were there.. but it wasnt a rain that lasted all day.. Ive heard it rains alot there but it doenst tend to last all day.. just brief showers.. so hopefully thats all you will get.. Id just bring the ponchos and head on out..

Me too me too - Leaving tomorrow put here's where I have been looking at the weather weather.com orlando- looks hot and humid I think chance of storms everyday I think about 2:00 for an hour or so It can happen anytime in Aug.

Leaving in the morning also We go every Aug due to being a Those storms usually last no more than an hour.In fact as long as my DH totes those ponchos the sun usually stays out; its when he forgets to bring them along that it rains. I'll just have to make sure he carries them every day

Just printed our boarding passes for our trip leaving tomorrow morning. We go every August as well- you can guess what I do for a living! Usually, however, we go the last week. Due to sending DD1 off to college this year, however, we decided to go earlier in the month. Can't say I'm sorry since the free dining plan starts the week we usually go! It rains, usually, for an hour or so each afternoon- and, like you PSAR, my DH carries the ponchos to ward off the storms!
We're staying at the Beach Club this time. Looking forward to seeing some of you there!
