Why wouldn't you take the scooter to the restaurant? It can be parked outside (or the host/hostess will let you know where). Can I leave my scooter from Gold Mobility at bell services at GF while I go to dinner (a couple of hours)?
Staying at GF. Dinner at WL. I don't have a way to get my scooter to WL. I can walk well enough to manage. Why wouldn't you take the scooter to the restaurant? It can be parked outside (or the host/hostess will let you know where).
I don't believe Bell Services will accept or hold a scooter from a third party vendor other than ScooterBug.
Last time I was at WDW, the driver of the boat I was on told me that they were making it so that there was scooter-accessible boat transportation everywhere (I think at that time, there was no boat that was scooter-accessible among the monorail resorts). That you don't have any way to get your scooter to WL concerns me, because although you're fortunate to be able to manage, some of us couldn't.Staying at GF. Dinner at WL. The boats handle scooters, you just may have to wait for a couple of them sometimes, but they are very nice about it and if absolutely necessary you can always get a boat from Magic Kingdom over if the other boats are not operating scooter friendly boats.Staying at GF. There is a bus to WL from MK.Thanks for mentioning the boats, but they are way too slow.
Then your best bet is to leave the scooter in your room. Bell services won't handle it. The other option would be to park it on the patio by Park Fare and the other restaurant where there will be a bunch of scooters. Thanks for mentioning the boats, but they are way too slow.
I am honestly curious what method is faster? Having had a rental car, driving from GF to WL and parking, then coming back and parking again takes at least as long, if not longer than the boats, even if you have to wait for a second boat. Unless I am missing something. Or have DH and I just been lucky with the boats, I mean it takes around 20-30 minutes in each direction on the boat in our experience unless they have changed recently. Driving took about 45 minutes in each direction. Thanks for mentioning the boats, but they are way too slow.
Sounds like you want to take the ECV from your room at GF to closer to where the Uber can pick you up? Can't hurt to ask at bell services in advance where they recommend you could park it as close to that pickup/dropoff spot as possible. You could also take a Minnie Van that is able to take the ECV but that is pricey - maybe like $32+ each way through the Lyft app. Thanks for the tips. I was hoping to just Uber/Lyft which shouldn't take more than 10 minutes
Thanks for the info. That's really cool that you could manage dialysis while at WDWWe needed a ECV for my wife during our February trip. We were at the Polynesian. I needed to take my wife to Dialysis they told me to park while we were gone. They gave me a claim check, and I used the same tag each time we needed to go to her treatment (3 x a week) We just parked it and took the key and had no problem.
You could also use the accessible Minnie Vans, they are Lyft, just a hair more expensive, but you can take the ECV with you and they can pick up and drop off closer in most cases than traditional Uber/Lyfts. You can also get an accessible Taxi, Taxis in Florida really aren't teribly priced the last we used them. Thanks for the tips. I was hoping to just Uber/Lyft which shouldn't take more than 10 minutes
OP is going from POLY to a dialysis center. Minnie Vans are limited to WDW and, some guests MCO.You could also use the accessible Minnie Vans, t

I don't know if Disney makes a medical exception.
Mears HA is the same price as a regular taxi
