We have always been interested in doing Leave a Legacy, but we never have. This year when we go we have a new addition to our family w/ DD#2 and we definitly want to purchase a tile w/ both DD's etched into it.

I am wondering who has done this and were you satisfied with the finished product? Also, was it hard to locate it when you wanted to see it your next visit to Epcot?

Thanks for writing in:wave:

My husband & I got a leave a legacy tile done in 2000 - we were very happy with it!

You get given a card, credit card type, (if things haven't changed since 2000) - this has a number on it which you can give to a CM who will write out the location of your tile - so you can find it.

I think the ones of kids are most most fun - espcially when they return more grown up & see how they have changed!

We did one in late 1999, pretty much right after they started them.
The tiles are tiny & the first time, they are hard to locate, even with directions.
I'm happy with it.

We did the Epcot tiles last year and were very happy with the finished product. They really looked like my daughters.

However, they are hard to find the first time.

I'm planning on doing it again in December.

Have a great trip!

We got a tile in dec 2000, and will be seeing it for the first time this trip!!

I have 4 tiles. 2 from the year 2000, one with me and hubby and one with oldest son (only son at the time). Then we got 2 more in 2001 with the newest addition to our family. This time one tile and me and youngest son and the other tile has oldest and dad.

We went to find all 4 last year when we visited and they are great looking (the first time we had seen the 2001 tiles but we saw the 2000 tiles before) and they were easy to find.

I sometimes contemplate getting another set this year, but who knows, we don't have any new additions to our family so everyone is represented.

My dd and I had one done last Dec. We haven't seen the actual tile yet. But the thingie they sent me with the picture on it looks like it's going to be a good shot. Now, if I can only find the darn thing in August!!!
