Ok, so last year (this time) my sister and I went to Disney World. January something thru the 6th (yeah I'm an idiot).

She loved how there was like no waits anywhere. (We are used to going in July when you have to wait for almost every ride.) She asked me the other night, "what other times of the year can you go and it be like that?" I don't know the answer, but I'm sure there are ton of you out there who do know.

Let me know. Thanks!

We were there at the end of Sept (day after Hurricane Jeanne). It was very uncrowded. Many rides did not have FP operating since there were no waits. Our max wait was maybe 15 min (too lazy to get FP) for PP around 4pm Mon. Later that week (Fri) we used FP for BTMRR & walked right on. I think that was the only ride we used FP for. EPCOT was dead, MGM was dead that week.
It was amost unbearably hot & humid though!

We went just a few days past labor day 2003 and it was pretty quiet. I think our longest wait was about 10 min. Another fabulous time to go is the Monday after Tgiving thru about Dec 15. Historically, those 2 1/2 weeks are the lowest park attendence of the year. We are going then next Dec.

What about the 1st week in March? I will be there 3/5-3/12... Is there a website where I can see historic attendance? I have usually gone in the summer when it's very crowded (the one other time I went in March was a big blur, I think my mind purposely forgot about that trip b/c I wasn't with the best of company... )

We have gone Dec-1-8 and Dec 5-12 and both times had those types of waits. The last time we went -2002-we left the day after Thanksgiving and stayed a week. We did notice the crowds were heavier than previous years with it getting pretty darn busy the Friday we checked into AKL for our last night there. We thought we would try January this trip since we had a big family wedding in December that we could not miss. When we were there in Dec 2000 it seemed like the buses were packed all the time. I asked the guest services desk at POFQ when the emptiest time of the year was and they told me mid January starting the week after New Years week, up until the second week of February. We'll see soon!

We went the week before Thanksgiving week and we were walking on rides or having ten minute waits. This all started to change by the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Also we stayed at two different resorts that week and both were VERY quiet.(akl/yc)

mid Sept. has consistantly been the least crowded time we've been. January has been the second least crowded. We're going next weekend so we'll see if that still holds true!

We go three different times a year. Either the last week in April or the first week in May, the first two weeks in September and the week after Thanksgiving. During all of them, you can pretty much walk on to any ride.

That's good to hear about the last week of April since that is when we are going this year. Hope it isn't too hot. What I like about Nov is the weather.

Well like I said before... we went in January... The Marathon weekend. I didn't see any marathon runners in any lines.. but some of the lines were a bit long... Mission: Space, Test Track, Peter Pan and the HOuse of innoventions were all the long lines. At least a half hour wait without Fast Passes. Those waits didn't bother me though.

1/2 hour for TT is good. I have seen longer lines than that for single riders.

Other low times I think are a hit and miss. It depends on world economics, weather, politics, etc. Who would have ever thought all of FL would be hit by 4 major hurricanes within two months?

Weekdays are MUCH better. If someone wanted just to plan park days for the week days only, that should make a good trip.

September is still very hot and humid. I know many swear by it because kids are back in school, etc. But it is still crowded on weekends, and it is hot and humid.

We love to go in May. Weather is beautiful (can be hot, but we like hot!!) But not as hot as summer months!! Flowers are beautiful, and the waits during the week aren't too bad.

And we also go in January. Hit or miss on the weather, but we make up for it being able to move quickly!!! to keep warm.

Looks like we lucked into some good weather this year. So far the weather predictions are 75 to 80 degree's.

Well, gotta go pack my shorts.
