Try standard rooms at WL and AKL, then maybe a standard wing at the Contemporary.

I believe the Wilderness Lodge is the least expensive. You may want to check out the contemporary as well.

You can usually get great rates at AKL and IMO, it's the most spectacular themed resort. We rent DVC points for the bulk of our stay at DVC resorts but always stay a few extra nights at AKL. We always book a standard room and have always been upgraded to Savannah view without even asking. My kids and I get up at all hours of the night to see the animals. Plus, Boma is one of the best restaurants in all of WDW.

The down side to AKL-- it's far from the other parks. However, the bus service it's bad if you allow extra time or if you have a car you can drive and park.

When I'm planning a trip and looking for discount codes, it seems AKL and WL consistently have the lowest room rates.

Have you tried the Dolphin? You can get great rates. We love it there.

I agree with the post above - try either the Swan or Dolpin. The location is great.
