Least crowded

First time posting,long time lurker..Took 1st family disney vacation last oct. had great time not bad crowds and enjoyed disney halloween.. We were actually planning on going back in 2010, because we had a trip planned to south carolina this year.. BUT kids school threw a wrench into our plans and would excuse the absence due to testing. So in your opinion what is the least crowded time to visit the world between mid october and mid december....thxs

I'm hoping it's the week after Thanksgiving since that's when we're going this year. Its been reported as being a great time to go, but also the secrets gotten out and its been getting busier than to. I can't wait to see it though with all the Christmas decorations and special events that time of year.

MY DH's grandpa's family was from Garrett, Ind. and his 90+ Great Aunt Tudy still lives there although this past year now in a nursing home. They sold the family home she was born in there this past May.

Early November until week before Thanksgiving should be quiet. And after Thanksgiving into early to mid-December I hear is a quiet time to go. October can be busy because of the Food and Wine Festival over at EPCOT.

The first two weeks of December have low crowds. If you are staying on site, the hotels are in the value season in early Dec, so you could save some money (vs going in Oct or Nov) plus you could enjoy all the holiday decorations! Sorry to hear about your trip this year, hope you have another great to Disney next year though

After thanksgiving is quiet. We were there late October a couple of years back and it wasn't too busy - but we had lots of rain - it's the risk of traveling in hurricane season!
