Planning a trip for the fall of this year or next. Please tell me when the best time would be to visit. My main concern is crowdedness. I would like to visit at a time with the least attendance. Thanks for your replies!::MickeyMo

My DH and I went last year September 10th -17th. This was a great time. It was still very warm, and the crowds were very minimal. I think the longest wait we had was MAYBE 10 minutes, but I would say an average of 5.

The weather was great! I think we had sprinkles one day for about 15 minutes and Clear skys from then on...

Have a wonderful trip!:D

I went last year in November, the week before Thanksgiving and it was not crowded at all. The weather was just right, I don't like the heat. And the best part was that the Christmas decorations were going up. It was great.

I have been in Oct., but that was when it was considered value season. Now it is regular season and it is alot more crowded than in the past from what has be discussed here. You have a PGA tour in Oct, the F&W festival, lots of conventions. It seems alot of people caught on to it being a slow time and now everyone goes and it isn't slow anymore!

I have gone the week before Thanksgiving 3 times and while it is getting alittle busier than our first Nov. trip, it is still a slow time. There really aren't any lines for attractions. If so, just use FP! We never needed to. The weather is perfect and I think out of 3 visits it only rained once for half a day. Also, you get to watch the transformation to the X-mas decor. Really beautiful. One tip if you go this week, make sure you leave before the weekend before Thanksgiving. The crowds start coming that weekend and you wouldn't believe the difference in!!

Sept. I have heard is slow but, still really hot and humid and also the chance of a tropical storm/hurricane and rain.

Try Nov., you'll be spoiled!! That week is also value season and we have always been lucky to get an AP rate or code. Not that that's always the case, but there's a good chance!

September is dead, that's always a good time to go. October can get crowded, and November is excellent (before Thanksgiving). One of the factors in November, however, is the timing of the New Jersey Teachers convention. It normally happens during the first week of November, and that does tend to have an impact on crowds.

WDW the week after Labor day in september is like a ghost town! We have visited the first 2 weeks of september and it starts getting (more) crowded toward the middle of the month. I think lots of schools in the northeast start right after labor dat and people don't want to take their kids out immediately.

At that time of year, most of the fast pass lines are closed and everything is a walk on. Our longest wait was for Test Track, about 15 minutes, and it would have been shorter if they had the single riders lane open.

One thing to be aware of is when the Night(s) of Joy are at the MK. No fireworks or sprectro that weekend, unless you buy a separate ticket to night of joy (Christian music concert). I think it's usually the 1st weekend after labor day.

"Jersey Week" is the week of election day, when the NJ teachers have a convention. All schools in the state are closed THursday & friday. Many are also closed tuesday for election day. some close all week.

Don't go then unless you really like people from NJ. Most of us are very nice. :)
