Least crowded days at Universal ??

I know I have read about this somewhere at sometime, but I can not seem to find this information now. Could anyone tell me what days, if any, typically are not as busy at Universal? We are going to Disney at the end of August and will be spending one day at Universal. We have been to the park a couple of times before so we will not be trying to cram everything in. I am just trying to plan my itinerary and wondering if anyone can tell me if there are any days that are considered a little slower than others. Of course, I suspect the weekends are always more crowded. Any advice, opinions are appreciated!!

Probably any day Monday through Thursday should no be too crowded. The FL school will already be back in sesssion then. If you only have a weekend day to go, then go on Sunday.

Even Michigan school are back to school the last week of August. So I don't believe you are going to have a problem on any day. But since Fl is back to school the weekdays may be the best. Also my Disney Guide book recommends Universal earlier in the week Monday to Wednesday and most people that do Disney and Universal will do Disney on Monday to Thursday.

I know it's a bit away, but we will be visiting WDW Nov. 30 - Dec. 9 2006 (Thursday - Saturday). BF requested a side trip to US/IOA this time around. What are the best days to visit that time of year? Any special events we should be aware of? Thanks!

Thanks Phamton and Tigger. I was going to do Universal on a Friday and go to a water park at Disney on Monday, but now I think I will reverse the order. Thanks again for your help!

Sunkissed: it sounds like maybe going earlier in the week would be a good time. I do not think it will be too crowded the first week of Dec. Have Fun!
