I have a fascination with people who are good at learning languages. I wish myself to be one of them. My problem is that I want to learn other things that I am capable of understanding only in English such as architecture, cooking, etc. so I keep sliding back over to materials in English in order to learn these other subjects.

Does anyone here know of a language program which will allow me to learn other things while I am also learning a language? I am sure that the market for such products would be incredibly huge so it is doubtful that it exists without it being common knowledge, but there is always that chance.

Immersion learning is probably one of the easiest ways, but to learn a new subject in a new language is going to be tough to do as you're not going to understand the material enough to use the language fully. I think you'll find yourself very frustrated.

Although immersion learning is probably the best way, don't go running out and buying Rosetta Stone.

I'm spanish and i speak spanish, english, french and italian. The best way to learn new languages is to talk with people, you can use chats or friends in social networks, i recommend you to watch films in origial version too. see u
