Does anyone know if anyplace has Leapsters on sale??

I haven't seen any in the sales flyers, but I wanted to tell you to check the clearance sections when you go to target and walmart. I found both my kids leapster 2's in the clearance section for whatever reason at different times. (I know I bought one last august in the clearance section, and I believe the other one was in Aprilish) They were the character ones, so I think they were switching out the characters or something. Not sure. I can't remember the exact price, but I know it was something like $10-15 off the regular cost.

Yesterday I saw a few Leapsters on clearance for $24 at Kohls. Great price!

my 5 y/o's Leapster bit the dust. He has tons of games, so I'd like to replace it, but haven't found any for less than $59.

Maybe I'll run over to Kohl's.... or call.....

Anyone know what the difference is between Leapster and Leapster2? I saw Leapster on sale for $39.99 but Leapster2 was $59.99.
My b/b twins will be 4 next month and they keep asking for Leapster. Any advice on which Leapster games are the best for 4 year old boys? Thanks!

I have a 6yr old girl, so no advice on games, but I can explain the difference in the leapster and leapster 2. The leapster 2 can be hooked up on line for additional games. It will grow with them a little more or you can buy the regular leapster and get a Didj later on as they get older.

I just got DS2.5 a leapster from Best Buy for $32.99. It is not the leapster 2. I had just purchased the leapster 2 from Target for $49.99 (coupons/price match). I hopped over to BB and was walking thru the store when my eye caught the leapster and the $32 price. I got it and returned the leapster 2. DD6 has the same leapster/charger so I saved more by not having to buy the charger for leapster 2.

I did see the leapster at toysrus for $49 and leapster 2 was $59

leapster games are on sale at Target this week - most are marked down to $19.99, but a few were lower, i think the UP game was $16. In their spring "catalog" I got a few weeks ago, they had coupons in the middle, and had 1 for Leap products - $5off/$30 - you may also be able to print it off the computer at target.com - look for coupons(I think at the bottom of page).

Also, you can sometimes find a few at 5 Below, and my Kohl's had some games on clearance - Incredibles was one of them. You can check the Leapfrog site for their clearance section as well. Good luck!
