I'm not a fan. Aside from the affairs she was involved in (which would make me dislike her even if she was incredibly beautiful and talented), I've never liked her voice and I find her odd looking at best. Add in her trainwreck of a personal life and she belongs on an episode of Jerry Springer, not performing anywhere else. There are so many more talented (and beautiful) people out there, I don't see any reason to waste time listening to her.

My comment was really just my generalized thought about how quick we are to be mean to others. People throw the "troll" word around and call others nasty names.

I said nothing about her looks and her education. The facts are they both were married to other people when they started sleeping together. That's all I need to know.

What do you need to know about someone who would "be"(oh I wish this wasn't a G rated board) someone else's husband. REALLY!! There is NEVER a reason to cheat, leave the marriage THEN date.

Apparently you have no idea what it is like to put all your trust in someone, only to have them rip your heart out - kinda hurts. Now if someone is so selfish as to inflict this pain on anyone, let alone small children then tells me all I need to know about her character. I will pass on her & his careers, I vote with my lack of dollars.

I have zip, zero, ZILCH respect for people that cheat on their spouse. They rank slightly above people that abuse children and animals.

I can't tell you what I truly think about her, as it would get me kicked off the boards. Someone like her isn't worth it.

Agree with SaraJayne 100%. Cheating shows a complete lack of respect for yourself, your spouse, your vows, marriage vows in general, the person you are cheating with, his/her spouse, and any children that might be involved. It is a completely selfish act that shows your true character, as well as a lack of class, grace, and dignity. To then glorify that by trying to make a buck off of it is repulsive.

I do have an idea. My parents marriage ended because my mother had an affair while I was in high school. It was awful and bad and terrible. BUT as an adult I realize it was way more complicated than my mother is just a ****.

I am not Pollyanna but I think this board can be very judgmental and harsh. It's just my opinion and I think life is hard and complicated.

I judge her by her actions - sleeping with a married man and being a loose cannon on Twitter.

"Being judgmental" and "having an opinion" are not the same thing.

Calling someone judgmental is generally a snide way of objecting to the fact that someone has an opinion that you don't like.

No not at all we can all have different opinions its the nasty remarks about her looks and the venom I don't get.

What she did is awful and if you don't want to support her by buying her music or watching her in television then that is great and understandable. I don't understand the venom...

I think the remarks about her looks are simply because the OP described her as gorgeous and many posters either just don't see it or actively find her unattractive, and were sharing their opinions. I doubt there would have been comments about her appearance (or at least there wouldn't have been as many) if it hadn't been brought up in the OP.

What bothers me most about her is her constant remarks about her husband's ex. There are children involved and she should respect them enough not to insult their mother publicly.

I think she's attractive enough and has a great voice. I wouldn't buy any of her music though because I (like most everybody else on this thread) have no respect for her. I googled the lyrics to her song and found them very distasteful. I have no use for cheaters.

She makes me sad because I met her when she was first starting out (we had friends who started one of the first big multiple day country western concerts in WI), and she was a sweet, humble child (well, preteen). You could tell she had humble beginnings, not a ton of education, but a voice like an angel. I know that she doesn't have Lindsay Lohan's drug problems, but their life trajectories have been so similar, it's heartbreaking.

She keeps saying she wants to have children, but I hope she gets her own life straightened out first, so they don't follow in her footsteps....

Oh.....I never thought she was remotely pretty, let alone gorgeous. Still don't. I think she violated one of life's great rules. Never marry a man who is prettier than you. But she does have a good voice.

Neither do I, and something seems off with her mouth... I don't know if she had some type of surgery, or the extreme weight loss or if it's just her natural look, but it seems odd. I also thought watching her interview on Leno last night was almost painful to watch. She just seemed to come off as such an idiot (for lack of a better word) in my opinion.

ETA: It drives me nuts that she doesn't seem to know or care to take the high road (especially given that she is the one who had an affair with a married man.) Even last night something came up about Eddie's exes reality show...she should have taken the high road and just said something to the effect of "it's not my business, or it's her life etc." but she yet again had to take it as an opportunity to tell the world how much better she is than the ex. It's just so sad and really disgusting given all the circumstances and the fact that there are completely innocent children involved (children that she in part tore away from their 2 parent family.)
