Are reservations required for either of these?

Several years ago, we visited in August and ate at Three Broomsticks twice without a problem or wait. Can we still just walk up?

If Leaky Cauldron requires a reservation do we make it at the resort or is their a Universal dining number?

I'm reading like crazy trying to get up to date on Universal.

I did see reports that you do not need reservations to eat at either of them. However, after looking at the dismal food and price I would avoid it. $14 for two pieces of fish and a couple fries

In January this year, i did a walk up for the 3B's.
the breakfast period ends at 11:00 but the lunch menu begins at 10:30

i found the lunch to be the better of the two

I love the Three Broomsticks breakfast and usually just walk in. I want to do the Leaky Cauldron breakfast in Sept as well so I have been wondering if I will need reservations or not as well. We have never stayed on site but we are this trip for 2 nights.

I've eaten at broomsticks multiple times without a reservation. The only time I could not get in was the first week of operation in 2010.
