I know this is completely subjective but I'm just wondering if Le Cellier is worth it for you? I'm from Ontario and been to some good steak restaurants here in Toronto so I was wondering how would Le Cellier compare? TIA! :)

I think the steak is good. I go for the Cheddar Cheese Soup and the Pretzel Bread to dip in the soup. I don't eat steak very often.

I don't know how Le Cellier compares to other (Canadian) steakhouses, but we definitely think it's worth going to! We used to go every trip and order entire meals, but now that they've changed to a Signature restaurant(and upped the prices), we still go...but now we order the cheddar cheese soup with pretzel bread and dessert! That's enough of a meal for us, we spend no more than $30 total...and oh boy, is it ever yummy! Mmm!

I'd say it's about the same as the Keg, with fewer choices on the menu, in US$. The quality and preparation of the dishes is acceptable, but not exceptional, anymore. Like all Disney restaurants, the tables are very close together, and because of the cellar nature of the room, it's noisy.

Thanks all! @starvenger I think I'll do the same and just go to Jacob's steakhouse instead... with the exchange rate, the prices are actually comparable :)

So I guess we should save our money and go to Ruth's Chris, Barberians or elsewhere in the Six instead?

I don't think even Le Cellier prices are what you would expect to pay at those restaurants. It depends on what you are expecting from your meal. If you just want a decent steak, then Le Cellier will deliver. If you expect a fine dining experience, then one of those, or Shulas, would be a better choice.

The last few times I've been there, it's been a bit disappointing. We were there for "Free Dining" and just didn't think it was worth two TS credits. Service seemed to be aimed at rushing us through faster than we wanted to go. I guess they needed the table? As far as the meal goes, I had just as good a steak at Shutters at CBR. The best steak I had on property was at Flying Fish on the boardwalk. Same two TS credit cost, far better service and not at all rushed.

When they switched to 2TS credits for dinner on my last Free Dining trip, I booked lunch which was still 1TS credit.

I agree. Food is good atmosphere is not on par with the other signatures IMHO (like Jiko) being in the park it's much more rushed to get those tables turned over.

We had an absolutely delicious meal there for Dh's birthday. The chocolate "moose" was delicious, as was the filet mignon. We certainly won't be able to do it every trip (our bill was about $175) but it was a great memory.
