I am trying to think out side of the box on this trip, what have you all eaten other then the fillet that you like. I feel the need to try different things this trip, don't want the same ole same ole :)

TIA:)

Hubby and I always get the prime rib. Our granddaughter got the chicken and said that it was so tender and moist. Our friends that went with us got the salmon and another got the steak. All were declared delicious......we had the ceasar salad and cheddar cheese soup for appetizers.....Soup is good to use with your pretzel bread.....

We always try different appetizers because we enjoy the filets. The mussels were really good as was the caesar salad. I didnt like the chorizo and polenta but my husband did. I know everyone raves about the cheddar cheese soup but the recipe here on disboards tastes just like it and it is not hard to make at home.

Last year, I went there for lunch for the first time (I usually go for dinner). I heard another guest in the lobby raving about how good their prime rib sandwich was, so I tried that. It was wonderful! Lots of tender, lean slices of prime rib on a toasted roll, with horseradish sauce (I think), served with really good french fries. It was half the cost of the filet (which I love), and really, really good.

Our favorite appetizers are the tomato stack and the cheddar cheese soup. The bread sticks are wonderful. For meals the winners are prime rib, the chicken, and the mushroom filet.
