Is this restaurant a good choice with a 4yr old and 1yr old? I don't want to take them somewhere where we will be embarassed if my DC's get loud...

:thanks:

Well you know your kids best and how well they do at restaurants! Personally, I think at WDW there are very few places that you just can't take kids, Victoria and Alberts and Shula's come to mind. We have eaten at Le Cellier and I had my kids (they were older) but I did notice that there were lots of kids there the night we ate there. At WDW, nobody expects to eat a quiet meal with no kids nearby at any restaurant! And since Le Cellier is one of the most popular places and a good deal on the Dining Plan, its always crowded with many people, especially families. You can have sometimes longer waits to get seated at Le Cellier (even with an ADR) because its so popular, so you might want to consider feeding your kids something beforehand.

We eat there with all of ours and there are always lots of tables with kids all around in there. I don't think it is a problem at all!

Thanks...now I probably won't be able to get ADR's! Oh well...there is always the next trip when the kiddo's are older! :teeth:

ooooh...this is a good question. I'm sure I would forgotten to ask it so I'm glad you did. I also will be going to Le Cellier in Sept with my 4 kids, the youngest will be 2 so maybe I'll feed her snacks beforehand. Have fun! Let us know how it goes!

pirate: I was thinking about trying Le Cellier for our last night at Disney. We are a party of six with three kids. The ages are 4, DS5, and 9. I tried to make an ADR for 10/28 for 6, the only time they had was at 8:30pm. Way to late for the younger kids. I was able to get the Plaza Restaurant at the MK for 6:30pm. I don't know if I should try to switch, or keep what I have.

I wouldn't hesitate to take the little ones to Le Cellier at all. We took ds5 and had a great time. On our 10 night trip this was our favorite meal of all  and we ate at Narcoossees, Yachtsman, CRT, Ohana... tons of nice places... excellent food!

danjoan14...I wouldn't change to a different restaurant, but I would keep calling and try to get an earlier time :thumbsup2 I would think w/3 months to go an earlier time would open up. Good luck!! Our 2nd favorite was Ohana and we ate our dinner there w/ds5 at 9pm and had no problems :)

The food is good there, but it's not a stuffy place, by any means. I don't see why kids wouldn't be fine.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the help!

:thanks:

We ate there with DS 18 mos & DS 6, and had a wonderful time. The CM even suggested rolling our son up to the table in his stroller (he was asleep at first) rather than waking him up, which I thought was very nice.

There were many children inside, and the noise level was not too bad. I think most people at WDW expect and don't mind normal "kid noise." If my son went into tantrum mode, however, I would take him outside for the sake of the other diners. (And my me, I mean my DS ;) )

The way I see it, if you would take the kids into Dennys or Fridays, you can take them into a TS inside the parks. Any one of them. :thumbsup2

We ate there with our two. They were 7 & 8, not as young as yours, but we did notice other kids there. Go ahead and take them. I think they even gave my girls crayons and a color page type of thing? So they know kids are coming. Don't worry. Have a great time. :thumbsup2
