Hi,

Just wanted to share our experience using the Vacation Kingdom Lunch Vouchers at Le Cellier. We used one adult voucher and two children's vouchers. I know others have reported not being able to get an appetizer with the kids vouchers but we had no problem. In fact, our waitress even offered entrees off of the adult menu to the kids. DD11 took her up on the offer, DS8 did not.

They gave us a receipt for the voucher items at the end of the meal. Our total would have been $110 and we spent about $60 on the vouchers! Not bad at all.

Thought I'd pass along the info for those who are interested.

Thank you for reporting your experience; it makes the idea of using meal voucher's even more enticing.

Is the lunch voucher that you used the same voucher as the "Quick and Casual" lunch voucher?

No, vacation Kingdom Lunch vouchers and Quick and Casual Lunch vouchers are not the same.

The Quick & Casual vouchers are not valid at Le Cellier. I used the Vacation Kingdom Lunch vouchers (about $31 for adults, $13 for kids).

My hubby is likely to try new things if i can convince him that we are saving $$$...girl ages 8 and 9 are occassional adventurous eaters...thrying to see if buying vouchers for upcoming trip will make sense. thanks

I just recieved several of the lunch vouchers from Hotwire savings club along with several kids luch vouchers. I am thrilled to hear LeCellier is now allowing appitizers for kids. Thanks for the update.

Muffy, while I hope that you will indeed be able to get appetizers for the kids w/the vouchers, I wouldn't "count my chickens before they're hatched". I have been using the vouchers for a couple of years and I know others that use them as well. It seems that the items you are allowed to order change from waitperson to waitperson and day-to-day. Good luck!

The Vacation Kingdom Lunch vouchers are new to me. Where did you get them and what are the uses/restrictions?

tons of stuff on the connecitons voucher thread at the top of this board but I do not think this ? is there...does any one know how much the 15% tip is based on for the server...$30.50 or the actual food cost...if it's on 30 they would be royally ripped off for the much higher bills(and more work!) so I want to know for when we go in a couple months. I imagine most leave more but I want to know how much more...also do most leave tips for the buffets and if so how much, more than the voucher amount (which would just about cover it except for character breakfasts.)

I asked my server this while at Beaches & Cream earlier this year. He said their tip is based on what the actual bill would be, not on how much you paid for the voucher.

How many adults were in your party?
