Hubby and I really want to try Le Cellier this time around and were fortunate to get reservations for our family. Is this a place we should try with 3 kids or would we be better off elsewhere? Any suggestions?

Virtually all of the theme park restaurants cater to families and are packed to the rafters with kids (Bistro de Paris in Epcot is the only exception to that). You'll be fine at Le Cellier with kids. :)

We took our son when he was 3 and he did fine. We had an early reservation, about 5 pm. There were a ton of other families in there. It was a GREAT meal.

Go and enjoy!

You don't mention the ages we are talking about. We have dined their often and found children of all ages.

Just be good parents - if they are acting inappropriately for the atmosphere, be the parent. Don't do what we see so many do; it's Disney, we don't want to spoil their vacation with discipline. Remember, discipline is "to teach".

I'm sure you will know what to do.

Again, go and ENJOY! :yay:

Thanks, Lynne! All of our meals last time centered around character meals... trying some different stuff this time around. :cool1:

We ate at le Cellier last January with our three boys and it was great. It wasn't one of our favourite meals but the boys really enjoyed their meals and the service was good. The pretzel bread is delish, as is the Cheddar Cheese soup!

There were LOTS of families so I think you'll fit right in!

Hope you enjoy it!

Susan

Sorry about that... ages 9, 6 and 3. And, totally agree. The "zero-Disney-discipline" is a non-option for our family! That drives me CRAZY! Every kid has their Disney melt-down moment and we try to be sensitive to the fact that they are tired and totally overwhelmed, but certainly not at the expense of other people trying to enjoy their vacation! Don't even get me started...

Yes you will be fine there with kids. its not a fancy place, so there's nothing to be worried about if you were.

We just dined there on New Year's eve with our DS who is 3 and our DD who is 6 months. Our son loved the cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread. We had a 7:30 ressie and the kids did great. It was packed with kids and very kid friendly. Enjoy your meal!

When we went with the "neighborhood families", my next door rug rat had the childrens steak added on for an extra two dollars......he loved it as did his mama .....He is a good eater anyways but enjoyed the steak....he was 8 at the time.

I love to see families enjoying all of Disney has to offer....it is great .:thumbsup2

We just ate here the end of Oct. with our 3 girls ages 9, 7 and 6. Perfectly fine and was actually one of their favorite meals! This is a great restaurant, don't pass it up! I'm sure your kiddos will be fine. The whole place was full of families with kids. Go and enjoy!:goodvibes

For sure take them! We have always gone to Le Cellier on every trip with all of our children and never had a problem. Everytime we have gone, the restaurant is filled with families with children. One our kids favorite places to eat;)

Have been there with my 3 boys, no problem at all. This is a very family friendly restaurant.

We went with my 4 kids in July and they all loved it! That pretzel bread was a huge hit!

It is back on our must do list after being off it for a few years. You'll be fine and have a great time! The CM's at the desk are really fun too!

Absolutely, take the kids!! They'll enjoy the meal and they'll be plenty of other kids there.

Thanks, everybody! Taking notes... pretzel bread... cheese.... got it! ;) I'm so anxious to get back to the World I'm about to BUST!

We have 3 kids as well and just recently enjoyed our 4th visit. The first time we went the kids were 2, 6, and 7. We never had any problems and there have always been lot of other kids there when we were.
