It seems from the reviews I've read here that Le Cellier has some of the best food at Epcot (not to mention what appears to be the best bang for the buck on DDP). But, when I try to convince my family of this, they feel eating at "Canada" wouldn't be that much different in types of food than eating at "America". They want to go to Nine Dragons, but won't they be getting basically the same type of food that they can get at the Chinese restaurants here in the states - or is it a more "un-Americanized" menu.

We've never eaten at either, and will probably have time for only one TS restaurant while at Epcot. What do you recommend (all family members are 16YO or older, and will eat most anything)?

The food in china is mediocre at best. You can get better food in your local chinese specialty restaurant. The service is slow, the food is WAY overpriced (even for Disney). Save your dough. This is where cold, greasy noodles go to die. Le Cellier is excellent for dinner. That is my vote.

We just ate at LeCellier a few weeks ago for the first time, and it was EXCELLENT! So much so that everyone in my group is insisting we go back there for dinner when we go in Oct. I haven't heard anything good about Nine Dragons (even in the guidebooks, lol), so LeCellier gets my vote too.

Go to Canada!! But make sure you make ADR early!!

I ate at the Nine Dragons last Sept. The food was decent for your typical Chinese take-out.

Why not try something extremely different with your family like Markkaresh or Chefs de France, then you can totally eliminate that "American" feel that bothe Canada and Nine Dragons may have.
