Le Cellier vs. Grand Floridian Cafe

Okay, I know that I'll probably get lambasted, and many probably laughed when they saw the title...

So, I'll give you some backstory.

I went to Le Cellier for the first time last December and thought it was very good. I just got back from a week long trip and had a dinner reservation at Le Cellier, and it was very good. Solid filet but nothing special, imo.

During the same trip, I also went to the Grand Floridian Cafe to try something different and to check out the hotel.

I can comfortably say that the meal at the Grand Floridian Cafe was one of my favorites of the trip and was an overall better experience than Le Cellier. We had a great server (Katie) and the steaks (a strip and ribeye) were actually as good as the steaks at Le Cellier (if not a bit better), cheaper, and I had two sides instead of one. We were on the dining plan, so the cost didn't bother me, but I did save a few bucks on tips. Plus the alcohol beverages were stronger. The servers at Le Cellier seemed very scripted, whereas the servers at GFC seemed personable and little more human.

So... for those of you who've gone to both...which do you like better (use whatever criteria you want) and why...

We've been to both for dinner. While the husband and I thought there was nothing wrong with Lecellier, the GFC was just a better experience. We took the boat from the Poly to the GF at night, which was nice. The husband had no complaints about the steaks at the GFC. Which is saying something.

And you don't feel like a sardine packed into Le Cellier...
