Le Cellier take out?!?!?

Was wondering, if it was not possible to get ADRs would it be possible to go to the hostess station and just ask for the cheddar cheese soup "to go"?
That was just THE best soup EVER! I am NOT a soup person, not sure if we will get ADRs for it this time since we will be a rather large party.

We even had trouble getting soup to go when we were all stuck in the room sick. A very nice CM at our resort eventually broke the rules for us and got us some from the TS at CSR.

There have been reports here that some guests have been successful in getting the soup and pretzel bread as take-out. I'm sure it depends on how busy they are, and it probably also depends on who's on duty.

this is why Canada needs to add a counter service restaurant that offers the soup and the breadsticks. They would make a KILLING, and still have plenty of people who want to dine at le Cellier for the steaks.

The only thing to do if you are sick would be to call room service. Of course you have to be in Deluxe accomodations.

I hope you really dont think that you can get Lecelliar in your room? It’s hard enough to try and get a reservation at this place and you think you can get if for room service but hey that would be oh so nice if you could

Wow what a great idea, Its funny you say that because I feel that WDW could do with some more Counter Services with different choices, like I was thinking the other day that it would be cool for the showcase in Italy to have a counter service that had spaghetti and meat balls and Italian sandwiches and Italian ice’s and gelato

I say we start a petition....a kiosk in Canada that serves the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup w/ bread sticks and Chocolate Moose hahahaha.

Takeout used to be very easy and very pleasant from just about any restaurant on property.

The DDP put an end to all that. Thanks, DDP.

Happily, we still have one place near where we stay that will do it for us, which place shall remain nameless.

There's more reports that recent attempts have not been successful (Le Cellier appears to be busy all the time now)

I thought the same thing about Italy, except making it even more simple and having just a pizza by the slice window. Hello? The only place to get Pizza in Epcot is over by Test Track, right? Everyone LOVES pizza!!!!!!

And I think USA should have a sit down. As the host country, COME ON- have a really great BBQ joint with brisket, ribs, etc. Yeah, similar food to Whispering Canyon, but not everyone wants to dine at resorts when they're not staying there.

I guess I was a lucky one because we were able to walk up and ask for the soup and breadsticks to go. Was very happy about that ... they did charge us nearly $15 for it though so be prepared to pay more!!

And, yes, you can get it at the F&WF but you get just a tiny little cup... I like ALOT more than that!
