Le Cellier "tables not released"

I'm willing to bet the LeCellier reservations will open for Dec well before the CP schedule is released. Remember though, you can't make the CP reservations, until THEY open up! You can't make a LeCellier reservation lets say, if LC opened up tomorrow, and then switch it to a CP reservation. You HAVE to wait until they open for CP.
Oh, I hope so. Think about ALLLLLLLL the people calling, at the end of July, for LeCellier in December. There will be an extra month's worth of people fighting for the same ADRs :sad2:

BTW, Whoopi isn't listed as a narrator this year. I think she became persona non grata when she said some negative things about WDW on The View after her last CP performance.
Where did you see the list? I'm DYING to know who will be speaking while we're there! TIA!

The narrators for this year havent been announced yet, just the dates which are November 23 to December 30.

UGH... This whole thing with restaurants being blacked out for CP really frustrates me. Our 180 day opens up this Sunday for our Disney wedding/honeymoon trip in December. We really wanted to go to Coral Reef for dinner one night as it has been a little dream of mine to eat dinner in front of the fishes :) and we also wanted LeCellier (spelling?) for lunch one day. It just makes me soooo frustrated... We are spending a lot of money with Dismey for a wedding/honeymoon, not to mention the deluxe dinning plan and I might not get to eat at some of our most wanted places.

I wouldn't worry too much. It is so far out that if you keep checking and can be flexible, I'm sure you can get what you want. I had no problem getting LeCellier last Dec. at lunch on the day I wanted once they opened it up.

I just hate having to lose so much time each day having to call back for all my Epcot ADRs!

Would it be so hard to let us make regular ADRs until the CP packages are released? (and not "any day now"?)

Would it be so hard to announce when those packages will be released and available to make ADRs?

My plan so far has been to stop fretting about it and call sometime during the day, when I think about it, and ask about Le Cellier first, then the others and hopefully I'll get at least Le Cellier in one of my Epcot dining windows... and forget about the CP package.

Yup, WDW-DINE has got me disgruntled.

When would someone expect Le Cellier to open for December dining? My 180 ADR day was yesterday, and that was the only restaurant I wasn't able to book. I was pleasantly surprised. I got an 8:05 CP, a 6pm Ohana, a 9am Ohana...and I was not expecting to be able to get any of those on the first shot!

The 180+10 day for our December trip opened a couple of days ago and my current biggest worry is they will open up the currently blocked restaurants during our upcoming vacation in early July. We won't have Internet access and the last thing I want to have to deal with on vacation is having to call the Disney dining number every morning (especially since the trip is on the West coast).

I need to stop worrying about this so much.

Well, the good news is if this happens, since you won't have internet the west coast time the phones open up is 4 am and not 3 am for online - NOT.

Unless they plan to block all tables for CP, then it seems to me some minimum number should be made available to be booked for those staying onsite, what we have is, apparently, because the CP dept. hasn't firmed up their plans and don't have a deadline until July to do so, the ADR dept. can't operate as planned.
It's not that big a deal, but just an unneccesary hassle for a lot of people, IMO, and the failure to indicate online that this restaurant cannot be booked at this time and an indication of when to try to book v. the current message that Le Cellier is not available for the times requested we see online now is misleading, @ best.
Vent over.

I am the girl who gets up at 6am on her 180 day mark to made all my ADR's - and first on my list is Le Cellier. So imagine my surprise when Le Cellier showed no availability...hmm. So then I started my obsessive calling at all times to try and snag it, and on my 3rd attempt the CM revealed that "the tables for Le Cellier had not been released yet" - has anyone heard of this before? In the past I have always been able to snag a ressie (and thanks to the new cxl policy, even on the flight down last trip!) - I asked when they would be released and her reply was "we never know - it can be anytime now" - huh? :confused3

This happened to me today, too.

For over a decade, I have always been able to get at least one or two lunch or dinner ADR's at the 180 day mark when it was allowed. But not today. I go to WDW during the first two weeks of December every year.

If Epcot Candlelight Processional packages is the problem, then it is the first time to my knowledge. Last year they went on sale July 26, 2011.

Someone at WDW has dropped the ball on this one.

Good luck to everyone and keep trying everyday online and calling.

I'm still waiting too. Tried to book Le Cellier this am since our 180 days is today. NOTHING was available. When I called, the CM said to check back around 6/26 since that's when they were releasing the CP Packages for booking.

I don't want to do the CP... Just dinner at Le Cellier :)

Same thing was told to me by another CM yesterday about June 26. And I too just want LC for dinner and no CP package.

I'm hoping for a regular (not CP package) lunch ADR (as close to 11:30 am as possible).

Is it safe to assume that regular ADRs will also open on June 26?

If true, the good news is that at least we finally have a date. The bad news is that there are going to be about 100,000 people trying to make LeCellier reservations at the same time. I wonder if the system will be able to handle it.

You can only make CP reservations over the phone, correct? And did I hear someone say that Le Cellier only participates for the FIRST CP show?

I guess it doesn't make sense to me that since they only allow lunch for CP the other times wouldn't be open...but it's still all good, like I said in the original post I have always been able to get a table (knock on wood!) with perseverance, and now with the new cancellation policy things open up closer to the date.

Just a little nervous since our whole week depends on getting Le Cellier for the CP! (but if that is the worst of my problems I am still in good shape haha) ;)

Historically, and typically, yes. Of course, things change every time, so there's no guarantee. If I were in your shoes, I'd plan for it though.

Last year was the first CP after Le Cellier went to Signature status for dinner. As such, CP packages for dinner were unavailable. Due to this, only lunches were available and it was for the first showing only.

As for what they'll do this year, who knows? It could be a repeat of last year, or they could open them up for dinner as well either by not allowing the dining plan for dinner packages, charging 3TS, adding a surcharge, or just letting people get away with a deal (I'd not count on that one :p)

Thanks to all who are posting on this topic.... this info saved my sanity, sort of...
Here's a big sigh directed toward the "guru's" at Disney Dining reservations. Just another hurdle to jump over when planing a trip! Uggh!!!

I have been so frustrated with booking Le Cellier for the week after Thanksgiving. In the past, booking lunch or dinner at Le Cellier during this time has not been a problem at the 180 day mark, but Disney could have announced to us that the process had changed for this year.

What a waste of time it's been for the past few weeks to determine if booking an ADR at LeCellier opened up.

We will all be waiting for June 26th!

How do you book CP and what is the cost? We can use our DDP? I couldn't see how to book it online, which is how I booked Yachtsman, Chef Mickey's, and Akershus Princess breakfast. I'll join the rest of you in sharing my dismay over not being able to book Le Cellier for lunch ;)

In the past, it's been only via phone and for DDP users it's been 2 TS credits. Not sure of the OOP costs though.

Again, everything is subject to change at Disney, so take that as it is ;)
