Le Cellier Still a Battle To Book?

IMO lunch is even harder to get since it's still a 1TS meal. Dinner on the other hand seems very easy to get. :confused3

We prefer to pay OOP. We were going to try Yachtsman, but my husband was not impressed with the menu. I dont think it is worth 2 TS, but I will pay OOP for it.

I just cancelled a Le Cellier dinner ADR for July 5th and changed to Yachtsman. We're paying out of pocket and I just like Yachtsman better. Much better wine list, more attentive and knowledgeable servers; it just feels more like a signature restaurant than Le Cellier. We have dined at LC since the change and think they need to improve a little more before we'll have dinner there again.

What do you normally eat at Yachtsman? We don't care about alcohol, just the food.

We planned a last minute trip for next week (AP holders) and booked the Yacht Club. Before deciding on dining plan wanted to check ressie availability.

got a 12:10 lunch for next wednesday for 4 yesterday at LeCellier, and dinner on thursday at 8:40 (also had a 4:15 available.) Booked them both, now deciding which one to cancel....

The late time was available for Wed and Friday too...

I just booked two Le Cellier lunch ressies this am. :surfweb:
Both for the week after Thanksgiving - Lots of availability on ea day to choose from. Very excited as I've been trying to get in for the past 4 visits. :thumbsup2

No because its 2 TS credits now-so all the people who raved about it for years here have ditched it because they are too cheap to use 2 credits...and its over rated-I suggest the Wave-it too has steak and MUCH better!!

We had LC lunch a few weeks ago and we thought it was amazing! Our first time there and it's now our favorite restaurant in WDW. We both got the mushroom fillet mignon with the cream cheese mashed potatoes. Yum!

Thanks for all the thoughts.

I am torn between Le Cellier and Yachtsman. I have been to Le Cellier every time I visit WDW and never to Yachtsman. A part of me wants to stick with what I know I enjoy, but another part of me wants to try something new. I have read more negative about Yachtsman than positive in the last 2 years......however, I may want to form my own opinion and experience. :)

We scored a same day dinner reservation a few weeks back. Of course, we cancelled a few minutes later in favor of Teppan Edo. If it's between Yachtsman and Le Celier, I'd choose Yachtsman...

I didn't have any trouble booking for a group of 17 but I did do it at 180 days out and we will be broke up into 3 groups. I think it is easier now that they are a 2 TS dinner, we are going for lunch. I really like it and I prefer not to leave the parks to eat, takes up to much time going from park to resort and resort back to park.

I am 180 days out and tried early this morning and they were all gone. I called WDW-DINE to see if they were booked up or if the date was not released - - - she checked the system and said there were already a lot of existing reservations. She also said despite Le Cellier moving to 2 TS for dinner, it still gets booked up just as fast as it always did.

I attempted to book a dinner on my 180+10 date and wasn't able to. Decided not to fight for it since there are plenty of other great places to eat.

I got a late dinner for 2 (time I wanted), when I booked at 6 am this morning for 180 days out, could not get lunch (wasn't sure I wanted it anyway).

I tried a bunch of different dates, and Le Cellier seems just as hard to book as ever. That being said, if I were paying for a steak dinner, either OOP or with the DDP, I'd much rather spend the money or credits at Yachtsman. Though lunch is probably still a good deal on the DDP.

We booked Yachtsman and I am happy with that. :)
The only thing I will really really miss is the pretzel breadsticks.
