Le Cellier Steakhouse - kid-friendly?

I read in another post that many people said this place had great steaks. My dad's a big fan of steak. Our parents will be traveling with us, but I also have three children who will be ages 6, 5 and nearly 3. Most of the Disney restaurants look nice in the photos, so I was wondering if this is more of an adult-atmosphere steakhouse, or one that the kids would enjoy as well?

I think most of WDW restaurants are kid-friendly. It is a little cramped, but I've seen loads of kids in there (indcluding my own 3) and it seemed like no problem. The chocolate mousse desert is a lot of fun for kids.

we went with our 5 and 3 year old last summer and it was great for them, they enjoyed it as did we all !

The maple BBQ filet, was IMO probably the 2nd best steak I've had.. The only reason it was #2 is #1 was my wife and my first 'real fancy date' when we first started dating.. So that will never be replaced, but this could've done it . Bummer part is, they only have it for dinner, not lunch

Definitely a kid friendly place. We have gone there quite a few times.
I have witnessed some kids in there that did not belong there. Standing on the chairs, running around with no shoes, throwing food etc.. But, there parents were enjoying the wine!!! I say go and have a great time, the pretzel bread is yummy. The moose dessert is really good, but it is not on the kids menu, you have to order off the adults/pay for it. We usually get it and give it to the kids and pick at their desserts. They do love it!!

Definitely 100% kid friendly. In fact last time we were there, 2 weeks ago, there were so many small children there that they had run out of high chairs. I think this is one of the nicer restaurants that really work well for people of all ages, fun enough for children but good enough food to please adults.

Yep, we take our 3 princesses every time we go. They have been to LeCellier 10 times!! We go to WDW 3-4 times a year, and we all love it!!

Le Cellier is a great restaurant, and like most all Disney restaurants they cater to children, but the tables are sort of close together, like most all Disney restaurants. The only problem that we had with Le Cellier and kids was, some of the tables are set up with one end being a long bench, that goes across one side and my nephew kept bothering the people next to us, and when they left, decided it would be fun to run all the way down it to the other end, he was 3 at the time, kids There were kids all over that place, and you can probably bet kids are going to be at any other place as well, unless there is a child restriction. HTH

It is definatly kid friendly. We don't have kids, and we didn't enjoy it when we were there because there were parents that were not disciplining their children. Its a tough space because it is so small.

100% kid friendly. There was a huge family which had about 6-7 kids in it sitting next to us, and the waiter staff was really having fun with them.

I would have to agree with everyone else. This is for sure kid friendly. I was worried about this too before we went, but no worries at all. There were lots of kids there and it was a good meal. My dd10 especially enjoyed the kids steak (she was 9 when we went and could still get the kids menu). This is one of the few places that kids can order a steak and it was a large steak too, from what I can remember. Go and have fun!

LeCellier is kid friendly, but I wanted to note that the Chocolate Mousse is no longer on the kids menu as a dessert option. Now it's an ice cream sundae, fruit cup, or brown sugar apples if you're getting one of the "Complete Kids Meals"
