Well, we just got back and I can't help but tell anyone who will listen that we were very unhappy with our Le Cellier dinner. We had planned it for our last nice dinner out and it didn't work out at all. We had made a PS for a family of 8 for a 6pm dinner. At no time did anyone mention to us that they would be unable to accommodate a table of 8 at the same table!! We were seated at 2 separate tables for 4, separated by about a 3 ft. space making it impossible to have a conversation with the rest of our party unless we were willing to scream across the restaurant, which I don't think would have been appreciated. When I complained to the hostess about no one mentioning to us that they could not accommodate a party of 8, I received a very 'brisk' answer that the reason we were not told was because they DID accommodate our party, by providing us with the same server!!!. If the kids did not have their hearts set on getting a good viewing spot for Illuminations, we would have just left at that point, but we were also very hungry and had heard so much about their filet mignon that we decided to stay!. Unfortunately, things got worse, the food presentation was horrendous (who has ever heard of filet mignon being served in what looked like a dog bowl)..........also we asked for a cocktail and was told that they had no vodka to make a Black Russian but that they did have wine and after dinner liquers (the server even stated that they had Grand Marnier). .... I guess you know what happened next, at the end of dinner we ordered 4 Grand Marniers and sure enough, the server returned to say that she was sorry but they had none!!!. All in all, the server was very sweet and nice, it was not her fault just the fault of the management we believe. We didn't let it ruin our time, because we just felt STUCK. The price was reasonable, the food was acceptable, but we will never go back.
