Le Cellier questions

For my family's April trip, I have an ADR for Le Cellier for 5:40. It's for 8 people (5 adults 3 kids), but they could only give me two tables of 4. My questions are:

How likely are we to have the tables next to each other?

I was hoping that 5:40 ADR was early enough that we wouldn't need to wait too long to be seated. Now, I'm not so sure. Any thoughts?

Approximately how long will the meal take? I'm planning on having everyone take a look at the menu online before we get there so we'll have an idea of what we want. We'll also order everything at once. Ideally, I'd love to be finished before 7.

we had very early ADR's this past week - like 4:10 or something and by the time we were leaving - about 75-90 mins later it was packed...

I was there last month for lunch and before we left, a group of about 8-10 people were seated beside us (we were a booth with the kitchen directly behind us) and the tables were all joined together (each sat 4 people) so it's very likely you'll be seated together.

You should be able to finish before 7 but it all depends on when you are seated (if they are on schedule or behind)

We have taken split table adr's (and priority seatings before them) at LeCellier for parties as little as 5 up to 10. We have never been seated separately. They really do try as hard as they can to seat you together.

The only place we've ever had trouble with was Rainforest @ AK. We were there for breakfast and was told we had separate tables - across the room from each other. If they were full, we would have understood but it was 3/4 empty! We refused and decided we would leave. They quickly put us together.

Last time we ate there (7:30 reservation, it was packed of course) it took the 4 of us just over 1 1/2 hours.

This may sound crazy, but I'm thinking of canceling my ADR and eating at a counter service place at Epcot instead of Le Cellier. I would like to have a relaxing meal with good food, but my first priority is keeping the kids happy. I'm sure they would rather have a hamburger and fries and see more of Epcot rather than have a long dinner at a nice restaurant. While my husband and I love great restaurants, we're lucky to live in a Boston suburb so we have many excellent restaurants right at home. If I had made the ADR for 5 instead of 5:40, I would definitely keep it. Oh well, something to remember for next time.
