Does anyone have the receipe for the pretzel bread from Le Cellier?? I would love to try it at home.

We asked about that a couple of years ago, and were told it was not available to the public. We asked again last February, and were told the same thing. The Disney World & Orlando Unofficial Guide has a recipie section, but all I could find was the recipie for the Biergarten pretzels in Germany.

I also asked about the pretzel bread the last time we ate there. The waiter told me to give him my e-mail address and they would talk to the chef to find out where they got it from. I got an e-mail from them within a couple days. They said:
"Thank you for requesting one of our recipes. As you know, we are very proud of our menu and are more than happy to share our recipes with our quests. Unfortunately we do not make the pretzel bread here. We did attach an address where we purchase the bread, so if you write to them, they could direct you to a store in your area that may have the product. Sorry we couldn't be of more assistance." Here's the address:

Backerhaus Veit Ltd
70 Whitemore Rd
Woodbridge ON, Canada, L4L 7Z4

I haven't written to them yet. If someone does please let me know how you make out.

Update:
I wrote to Backerhaus and asked about the Pretzel breadsticks at Le Cellier. They are exclusive to Disney, so they aren't sold to any stores in the US. They said they would ship a case to me, by Fedex. The case of 100 breadstick was $33 but the Fedex charge was $87. I guess I'll have to suffer and make more trips to Disney to enjoy them.

WOW! That's kinda neat they have that shipped from the actual country

Where they assorted to the case, or just one "flavor"? 87 bucks for shipping!? holy smokes!!! Yep, might just as well go to WDW and get 'em in person.
I wonder if the ones they get at the Canada pavilion are already baked, or if they come in frozen and they bake them there? They certainly don't taste like something that already was baked somewhere and then just reheated as they use them.

I believe they were just the one kind in a case. They did send me pictures in their e-mail of all the kinds of pretzels and breads they sold to Disney so that I could tell them exactly what I was looking for. They did have the regular pretzels and larger loafs of the pretzel bread as well as the breadsticks.

Is the company Backerhouse Veit in Toronto?

The address I was given was Ontario. And they told me the bread comes frozen, that's why they ship them Fedex, so they won't completely thaw and you could refreeze them.
