My dh and I have ressies for lunch at le Celliar at 245 and have dinner ressies at Ohana's at 7 so I dont want to be real full from Le celliar and miss out on my ohana's dinner, but I dont wanna be left starving are the portions big enough that me and my dh could share a meal at le celliar?

I think sharing a meal would be a very good idea with the times of your ADR's. The portions at both restaurants are substantial!

It depends on what you get but I don't think the portions are very big at le cellier for lunch. The steaks are decent size but the side dishes are very tiny, at least what I got.

The Pretzel Bread and Chedder Cheese Soup are filling enough for me. Just my opinion but would consider trying to either spread times out a little more or change one of days so that you can actually enjoy both places.

I would try to move your Le Cellier lunch ADR earlier or if you have a small meal you'll be alright.

We had lunch at Le Cellier in January. I ordered the soup (didn't like it so I only had a few mouthfuls), had a delicious mushroom fillet which I ate every bite of, it was the perfect size portion for me and I had the chocolate moose for dessert but I was stuffed so I only tried a little bite. We cancelled our ADR for Garden Grill that evening, afer his huge lunch DH thought another big meal would be too much for him. But to be fair he did eat my soup and dessert :lmao: In additon to his own meal :thumbsup2 He wants to try to eat at Le Cellier twice on our next trip but I don't think I can fit that into my schedule ;)

I think U will be fine provided U dont go crazy on the Pretzel bread like I do : ) I would skip an appy & dessert also try 2 arrive early they may be able 2 sit U early we have always arrived 45mins early during FD & they have always been able 2 seat us within 15mins.Ohana is alot of food so have your appetite ready, I always make our ressies at Ohana around 8:15pm

As much as it will be viewed as heresy by some here NOT to have a steak at LeCellier, sometimes we score an ADR and just get a bowl of the cheese soup and the bread with a drink. We do tip the CM nicely and try not to linger at the table so they can serve a full meal to another party that is waiting.

The soup/bread combination is very filling and makes a nice lunch!

The New York strip (at least the one we had) is big enough to be shared (and we did).

We had lunch once at L'Cellier and had an earlier evening dinner. We had to cancel the dinner we were so stuffed from lunch. Is there any chance you can switch ohana to another evening.

We had dinner there a number a years ago (maybe it is better now) and DH ordered the petite filet. DH pointed out it should have been called the minuscule file. It was about the size of a silver dollar and it was expensive. The rest of our meals were unmemorable. L'Cellier is not on our list for our upcoming vacation.
