Which would you recommend, Le Cellier or Yachtsman? We had Le Cellier last May and yes it was really good. Just wondering how yachtsman is compared since we have never been there. Also not on dining plan and no kids this trip. Just DH and me.

Also didn't you receive free bread at Le Cellier before eating? I can't remember. Also does Yachtsman due this as well?

Yachtsman is much better than LC. Shula's blows Yachtsman out of the water. Since you are not with kids and don't have to worry about dining credits, do yourself a huge favor and go to Shula's. :thumbsup2

I think any place is better than Le Cellier IMHO. That place is so overrated. Since you've never tried Yachtsman, i'd suggest you go with that. Its fun trying new places. :goodvibes

About the bread at LC, yes you get bread. 3 kinds, a pretzel stick is one of them, cant remember the other two thou.

Yachtsman's...my family loved this resturant. I cried on my birthday because I had reservations there and had to cancel the trip. :sad1: I made up for it by going on a Disney cruise. ;)

Just wanted to mention that Shula's IS great. BUT it's also a chain restaurant so if you have a location near you, I wouldn't choose it. I like to stick with restaurants unique to Disney while I'm there, since it can't be done anywhere else.

well its unanimous i guess..lecellier is very overrated had it with candlelight dinner processional ....not very good..yachtsman..is awesome..to bad not on dining plan..or would always go there...had free dining so had to use lecellier..next time doing candlelight will go with another restaurant..oh well..to each his own..

Line me up with the Yachtsman fans! The meal is incredible and the ambience and atmosphere is great (especially for couples).

Le Cellier is okay, but you feel very rushed there.

Even though Shulas is a chain, it's a lot better than Yachtsman which is a lot better than Le Cellier. Add in the more adult atmosphere at the Swan/Dolphin upscale restaurants and it's an obvious choice for us.

I thought Le Cellier was good, but Yachtsman was awesome :thumbsup2. Between the two, Yachtsman would win hands down for me :goodvibes.

Hands down Yachtsman. IMHO, not even in the same sport, never mind the same ball park.

Yachtsman! We ate there this past October on our anniversary and had a fabulous meal! The atmosphere I think is better for couples too. Le Cellier is not what it once was.

These responses have certainly sealed the deal for me making ADRs for Yachtsman over LC...

I have my 180-day window this Sunday and I was just torn..

and now I'm not..

bring on the Yachtsman!! :thumbsup2

If you like mixed drinks, they have a drink with Black Stag cherry bourbon that is absolutely yummy. Dress was more casual than I anticipated. We mentioned it was our Anniversary upon making the reservation. and we got personalized menus that said Happy Anniversary on them. Great touch! I had the filet and it was the best filet we have had on property. Just melted in my mouth. Service was wonderful!

Enjoy!

Just so you know, Le Cellier is 2 TS credits for dinner only...lunch still remains 1 TS credit.

Glad you picked Yachtsman. Have a great time! :thumbsup2

I think you made the right decision in picking Yachtsman over LeCellier.

When I was at LeCellier it was the most disappointing experience I have ever had at WDW, and that is no exaggeration. I was expecting this place to be a blow me away, wow experience based off of all the euphoria and near out of body experiences so many people seem to claim they had encountered. Turned out to be an Outback Steakhouse at best. Now my experience was when they were not a signature, but based on the less than magnificent reviews, the menu and the food appears to not justify the signature status.

Sorry all, I have been away for a few months (serious accident) and I just need to catch up on my LC opinions. :lmao:
