Which has better food? I have a picky DD9 (vegetarian and picky!!!) Others dining with me will be DH, DD6 and DS2. I am a bit worried about the DS2 at Teppanyaki but my DH really wants a steak. Help!!

Le Cellier has great food. I know they have vegetarian lasagna, perhaps at dinner. I think Le Cellier is a do-not-miss restaurant.

We can not wait to try Le Cellier on our next trip!! Teppanyaki is good, but it's like any Shogun restuarant you'll find in any big city. I think Le Cellier will be more of a unique experience.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions. I don't think I have a shot at this point at getting a reservation at LeCellier... I do have one at Teppanyaki. I will keep trying though!!!

Only a few more days... Time to think about packing!

it doesn't hurt to try... given the new hours that disney released for the end of august (you know that they changed spectro's nights and all other kinda changes?) i had to change some of my ps' and had no problem getting everything i wanted when i wanted...

No, I actually did not know they made changes! How do you find out about all this stuff? I leave for Baltimore on Friday (staying at my MILs) and fly out Saturday morning... I am a bit overwhelmed! Can I find out the new hours and changes on the disney.com site?

Thanks again--you have no idea how much I appreciate the info!

Hey neighbor - we're right up the road a piece. Have a great trip!

And definitely LeCellier.

another vote for Le Cellier......its hands down our favorite.....we already have reservations there in October and will book them again for our December trip!!

Le Cellier hands down, this has become our favorite Disney resteraunt. Enjoy!

Le Cellier is nice, but just a warning, in case you haven't been there. It's one of the 90's type cuisine places that serves the meals in a huge plate with a few stains in the center. Upon closer examination, the stains turn out to be your food. Hearty eaters may find the price a bit steep for a spoonful of potatoes, a tiny serving of veggies, and a bite or two of meat. Our price tag for dinner for 4... $250. ( includes drinks and tip ).

It was nice though. As is Teppanyaki, though the cook does tend to perspire a lot cooking over that hot table and the observant diner will notice the sizzle of sweat beads hitting the grill from time to time. Probably happens to the cook in any restaurant, but it can sure sap an appetitie when you witness it.

:rotfl2: Thanks for the information and the laughs!

I am going down 9/30-10/8 and can't get reservations to Ohana or LeCellier.. and wondered what is another place (or a couple) that I shouldn't miss..

Mabey I've been unlucky both times I've been to Le Cellier. I can actually cook a steak better at home than what I've had at Le Cellier. Also both times we had PS and both times we hade to wait 30 to 45 minutes past our PS time for a table. We went Oct 2003 and July 2004.

Le Cellier, we can't wait to go back, our steak was tender and very tasty :sunny:

You make a good point. I had a great steak at Le Cellier, but I also get a great steak everytime I visit the Outback restaurant chain, and it costs a lot less.

I would opt for Le Cellier. The food is excellent and it is a very comfortable, family oriented restaurant. We took our 3 year old son to a similar Japanese style restaurant and our son was petrified. It was just too much. I have never been to Teppanyaki so I can't comment specifically about this dining experience, but there were several other toddlers in our party and they were all afraid. My 7 year old nephew loved it!
