We (Me, DH, DD6, DD3) are going to Disney the week after Thanksgiving. For our day at Epcot, should we make dinner PS at San Angel (Mexico) or Le Cellier (Canada)? Keep in mind that daughters will be 6 & 3.

Your recommendations are appreciated!! :flower:

I always recommend Le Cellier over San Angel. The food is much better and the servers there are very nice and helpful. When my DH and I went there last summer, there were plenty of children in the restaurant. Also, I've had heard & seen pictures of the "Moose" dessert that seems to be very popular with the kiddos. Its very cute. I think it would be a great choice for your group.

On a side note, the inside of San Angel is very neat...I just think the food and service is sub-par and not worth the money. And I wouldn't think too much kid friendly food. However, we usually just go inside the temple and walk around to cool off and look in the "marketplace" area, without eating at San Angel.

I definately prefer Le Cellier. My family has been to San Angel a couple of times and didn't like it either time. While the atmospher in Le Cellier may not be as unique, the food and service is better.

We love San Angel, and a table next to the river is so perfect, especially for the kids!

Another vote for Le Cellier. Food and servers are great. They also seem to be wonderful with the children.

Le Cellier is fantastic-- great food, great atmosphere, and the kids will be fine. San Angel has a lovely setting but I found the food to be unremarkable (not bad, just not anything special) and the tables way too crowded together.

And another vote for LeCellier! We enjoyed this restaurant in 2003 and will be going again this Summer when we visit Epcot. ::MinnieMo

Take the ride in Mexico and enjoy the view of the restaurant, but eat at LeCellier. It is one of our favorite restaurants - in fact we will be eating lunch there on Friday!!!

Le Cellier- no doubt, one of my favorite restaurants. My last experience at San Angel will definately be my last experience at San Angel. Overpriced bad Mexican food with the poorest service I've experienced...

We ate at San Angel last year and I loved the atmosphere. It was soooo relaxing and beautiful. But, the food was not great to me.

This year, we're planning on going to Le Cellier. I've heard such good reviews about it, esp. their cheese soup and pretzel bread. Yum!!!

Another vote for Le Cellier. Much better food and service. San Angel wasn't BAD.... It was just "eh".

Thanks everyone. It looks like Le Cellier wins the majority vote. Is this restaurant more "dressy" than some of the others in Epcot? Disney recently changed this from a "Signature" dining restaurant to only 1 TS on the dining plan so I was just wondering if it was a little more upscale?? ::MickeyMo
