Le Cellier or Les Chefs de France for lunch?

Is Remy scheduled to appear at Chefs in Epcot indefinitely?

When we saw him last year in 8/09, he was supposed to be leaving for another Disney park (Disneyland in California) on 9/5/09. Then I know his visit in Florida was extended, but I wonder to what date. We have an early dinner ADR there this August, and my nephew would love him! We thought Remy was adorable last year. :)

We liked the restaurant very much in terms of food, atmosphere and service. Our server was a delight. We're going back because we liked it so much, and Remy would be like getting whipped cream and a cherry on top. :sunny:

As of now there are no plans to move him, but it can change without notice.

Chefs de France is a better option, as the menu is more diverse and they offer better quality lighter fare. Le Cellier does well with beef, but the rest of their menu is not delivered at the same level of quality as I see across the whole Chefs de France menu. For beef lovers, Chefs may not offer a filet at lunch, but the braised short ribs are very good - I prefer them to the filet served at Le Cellier, which is good but no different than a steak I can get other places.

We enjoy both places. I love the prix fixe option at Chefs. Especially if you are not on the dining plan, it is so worth the value. However, we also enjoy Le Cellier for lunch as well. I think either way you can't go wrong with either of these places for lunch. We do however prefer Le Cellier over Chefs for dinner.

Do you have ADR's for either? If not, you might want to check to see if either of those restaurants even have available times. I'm trying to get Le Cellier for lunch in late September, but it's already booked for every single day! Availability might influence your decision... Good luck!

I agree with this, we will be there in September and even though I do have a lunch ADR for Le Cellier, I happened to see if I could get a different time and there is no more availability during our stay. But to answer your question, I really can't answer...we love Le Cellier and so do my kids who are 9 and 6. My 9 yr. old loves the children's steak while my 6 year old always gets the kids pizza. As for Les Chef's we have ADRs here as well for lunch, we are hoping to see Remy....which that may answer your question because at Les Chef's your kids may get a chance to see a character come to their table. Good luck deciding.
