Biergarten is a lot of fun. I love the entertainment and the food. The red cabbage is the best!

Thanks Bicker!!

Anyone Else????

Le Cellier gets my vote too. I've been to both. I like the show in Biegarten, but your can't beat the food in Le Cellier.

I HAVE to say Biergarten...it's one of my favorite restaurants in all of WDW. The food is fantastic and the show is great...we ate at Le Cellier once and didn't care for it nearly as much as Biergarten....of course we are in the minority on that but anyway. I think your kids would have a much better time at Biergarten it's a family fun kind of place. :wave2:

Unquestionably Le Cellier. We had the best meal here on our last trip in December '05. It will be a must on all our future trips. We have eaten at Biergarten twice. The first time I would have to give the place a 5 out of 10. But our last visit was terrible the food was not very good and we were seated at a long table with a bunch of unfriendly strangers. The table was on the upper tier and we had people constantly walking by...too hectic and not relaxing at all. The food at Le Cellier is fantastic (mushroom rissoto :thumbsup2 ) including the steaks and we are not red meat people.

Since you are travelling with young-er children, I would say Biergarten. We have done both with our boys 8,6 and 3 and they loved the Biergarten. Le Cellier was okay in my book, but I wasn't blown away by it. Maybe save Le Cellier for a time when just the adults can go?

Personally I would go with Le Cellier for food choice but if you want entertainment for the kids Biergarten. (depending how young under 14) We simply did not care too much for the food and there were not many children's choices either.

I would have to say that depending on your kids if they are looking for some entertainment then would have to go with Biergarten if however they are not looking to have a show then Le Cellier the food is better in my opinion. Would say the food at Biergarten tends to be heavier in nature and tends to make you want to take a nap afterwards (at least with me it does :rotfl2: ) hopes this helps a little but both are great eats!

My kids are 14.11 and 8. They don't "need" a show - of course they wouldn't object to being entertained either. They, well they older 2 aren't real adventurous eaters. I wasn't sure if the food at Biergarten was heavily..."German". Does that make sense?? I mean there are things on the menu that they would eat but only if they taste "normal". I hope I'm making sense!!!
Le Cellier sounds nice and relaxing to me.... I don't which to choose :confused3

I've been to both this past trip 2 weeks ago and both were lunches. We really loved Le Cellier...had the burgers there. However, we also found Biergarten to have quite a selection. All very good I might add. It was impossible to try everything. The entertainment was really fun, the whole set up inside is great. I never really heard much about this restaurant, it's like a little hidden secret. My suggestion would have to be the Biergarten...hands down! Especially with children. I loved the boneless chicken w/ the hunter sauce on top!!! They have different kinds of sausages (even hot dogs) spaetzel noodles, mac & cheese, delicious soups, oh and the pork ! Yummy! There is alot to choose from at this buffet. The pretzel bread rolls are really good! Desserts were really good too. Loved those raspberry cookies and the apple strudel! :thumbsup2 Just make sure you try Le Cellier one day too. ;)

My DH is extremely picky! He does like sausages and brats, however, he won't eat the saurkraut. He had lots to choose fromhere, actually more than any of the other buffets we ate at believe it or not. He loved the roasted pork, it just falls apart. They have sauces you can add to you meats too.I think your kids should find enough to keep them satisfied. Le Cellier really didn't have a big selection for my DH to be honest, but it was lunch so I knew he could order a burger which he really did enjoy. You can look up the menu's on www.allearsnet.com . You can see what each buffet serves as well as each restaurant throughout WDW including all the resorts. It doesn't ususlly list all the buffet items so know there'll probably be even more to choose from when you arrive at any of the buffets. It really helped me out in choosing where to eat considering DH's finickey food drawback. Hope this helps. :wave2:

I couldn't decide either, so I have them both! :rotfl2: Sorry I'm not much help. I have never been to either place, and we have two Epcot days, so I didn't have to make the decision.

It's great to hear both getting some positives on this thread!

Sounds real good....We are gonna have to reconsider this place.

Do they still seat you at the same table with strangers?

Yes, we were seated with another couple. I wasn't so sure at first that I was going to care for this, but it ended up to be really nice. We had a great conversation with the other couple and really enjoyed ourselves. I would imagine if you have 4 or more in your party you will be seated by yourselves. I would recommend trying it especially if you like comfort type foods. :thumbsup2

For food quality-Le Cellier

For some entertainment type thing for the kids if you want-Biergarten
