Longtime lurker finally posting...finally have ADR's(lunch) for Le Cellier. I know the ever popular filet entree is served at both times but saw a thread about portion sizes. Would I be better off trying for a later dinner if I can get them? Just saw availability for dinner on our Epcot day and know it won't last long. Trying to make it a memorable day for DH and I... we're going to see Rick Springfield that evening:goodvibes Thanks in advance for any advice!

We have done dinner and lunch (last month). We got the filet and NY strip at lunch last month and there was not that much difference in the portions to us. They were both great as usual. We had a cup of the cheddar soup/pretzel sticks and then the steaks. It was plenty for us and we had room to share a dessert. Also, we paid OOP and the cost was about $8/$10 less pp. for lunch.

Thanks...good to hear from someone who experienced both. Guess I'll just stick with the lunch ressies. Am really happy I was able to get any ADR there:banana:

I think it depends how big of an appetite you normally have. I've eaten the filet at both lunch and dinner (in both cases had cheddar cheese soup and bread sticks as well). The lunch filet was smaller, but it was a better size for me. I ate it all, whereas at dinner, I could not finish it. My group shared desserts and usually ended up taking one or more back to the hotel after dinner (we were on the DDP).

In either case, the filet was yummy and so was the soup, bread sticks and dessert.
