Le Cellier lunch/dinner border ADR

I wanted a lunch ADR for Le Cellier to avoid 2 TS, and though I was on at 180 day mark bright and early, I could only get 11:45 am. I was hoping for around 3:00, so late lunch/early dinner. I have kept looking and today one opened for 3:30. I know this is the start of dinner, but wondered if we arrived at 3:00, and hopefully got seated before 3:30, we could get in as a lunch. Anyone have any experience with this? I hate to pass up an ADR so close to the time I want, but need lunch for 1 TS!

I would check on line frequently to see if anything comes up around 2:30 or 2:45 so that you'll be assured that it will be a lunch seating.

You can also go to the Dining Reservations subforum and subscribe to the Cancelled ADRs thread for whichever month you want.

If you can't get a lunch reservation you could try walking up around 2:30 and see if they can seat you. Depending on how busy they are, you may or may be successful. I wouldn't wait until 3:00 because that's the end of lunch service and they might not be seating anyone.

Now that LeCellier is a Signature at dinner, it has become harder to get a lunch res. Good luck!

Thanks - that is good advice. We will be exploring WS all afternoon, so we can make a point to stop there earlier, and I'll keep trying of course/checking cancelled ADRs thread. Today was 90 day mark for that day, so I hoped they might have more to release, but nothing available yet. Last time we went, my husband and son went for dinner, but it was still 1TS.
