Le Cellier - IMPOSSIBLE to book?

Call! I spoke with a CM last night that said that Le Cellier is having trouble with online booking. Something about the switch the 2TS. Anyway, online there were NO reservations for our entire week lunch or dinner. When I called I got the exact time and day that I wanted within 10 minutes. Good luck!

I wonder if this is a deliberate strategy--to make you call so that the CM verbally tells the guest that LC will now be two credits! Otherwise, they risk a lot of people (who don't obsess on message boards like me) showing up and not keeping their ADR--then LC won't have the packed house they are used to...lost revenue! Potentially a lot of people would be VERY upset--even if they kept their ADR!! Unhappy guests mean bad reviews which will drive the crowds away--eventually!

I have also been checking online everyday, sometimes multiple times a day, to get a reservation at Le Cellier for my May/June visit. I have not been able to find anything. So I saw this thread and thought it couldn't hurt to call. So I called and got a ressie! Granted, the times are not prime time but I did get a choice of 4:30 or 7:30 (and I do NOT mind the 4:30 that much since it still gives us time at the park afterwards).

One interesting thing though is that the automated lady was booking it for me. I didn't talk to a live person until the automated lady couldn't figure out my name (they NEVER can - no matter how I pronounce my name and how much I enunciate the letters - and it is a four letter last name!) So when the live person came on, she had no idea that the automated lady could book it for me. Interesting...

Moral of the story - CALL for Le Cellier ressies!

Also, don't discount attempting to walk in!

Granted it was January, but we walked in for lunch last week Thursday. It seemed pretty empty in Epcot so we figured that it couldn't hurt. We were seated in half an hour with a party of 6.

When I started booking all our reservations a few weeks ago for July, I was able to get two reservations for lunch at LC and was ecstatic! I haven't been able to get any for dinner though instead so I guess I should call for dinner if we want to do that instead. Thanks for the information!

Just snagged an ADR for Le Cellier for March 12 at 2:20pm. If you don't get what you want the first time, try, try again.

You need to call! Thanks to this thread I just called and got the ressie I wanted for June 8! I couldn't get it online and the automated phone system wouldn't do it, but when I actually spoke to a human she was able to do it with no problem. She said lunches are filling much faster than dinners since dinner will be 2TS credits as of March. So make that call and go have a wonderful dinner!

Thanks to everyone in this thread for pointing out that calling was the way to go! LeCellier was the one ADR I really, really wanted!
