DS likes cheeseburgers but I only saw them on the lunch menu. Will they allow him to order one for dinner anyway? He doesn't like steak or salmon.

I can't really say for sure that they would let you order from the lunch menu at dinner, but I imagine if you call them ahead of time and ask, they will be able to accomodate you. Beef burgers are a dime a dozen in WDW. Unless you are a steak lover though and have something specific in mind for yourself, I'm not sure I'd go to a steak house and spend that kind of money on a burger that you could probably get at a fast food place.

1) Normally, lunch items are put away for the dinner set-up.
2) Typicaly, no lunch items for dinner.
3) but, you can always ask.

The executive chef at Le Cellier has been the same since we started going about 5 years ago.... I have a deadly nut allergy, and he has been one of the most accommodating chefs I have ever met. He is really nice and is eager to help...I'm sure you could work something out :)

Thanks for your replies. I will call ahead & ask.

Why spend that much on a burger? Well, in DS's taste buds mind a good burger to him is like a good steak to DH & I  And DH & I want to have Le Cellier steak so if buying DS a $15 burger makes that happen...oh well...people do crazy things on vacation :thumbsup2 I did see they offer mac'n'cheese so that's now the back up plan.

Understandable... I refused to eat anything but chicken fingers or steak until I was 18!! It will be worth it... Le Cellier is fabulous! :goodvibes

My DD LOVED the mac and cheese in May! (She was 9 at the time, not sure how old your DS is.) She didn't see anything she wanted on the dinner menu, so when I saw the mac and cheese and suggested it she was happy. (we were paying OOP, so no DDP for us) It was a "side order" but she had it as her main dish. They were very nice about it. It does have bacon in in and bread crumbs on top so is very homemade, not like Kraft. My DH tasted it and he loved it, too! DD declared it her favorite meal of the trip and our other two kids seemed a little jealous that they didn't order it! :goodvibes

Have a great trip!

I was nervous my son wouldn't enjoy LeCellier, but it was one of his favorite stops on our last trip. He LOVED the pretzel bread!

Have a great time (and a great meal!)
