Le Cellier desserts

I'm so excited to hear this! I want to see the chocolate moose in person.
Here's a picture I found on google.

Isn't it cute? :cutie:

Do they still do the s'mores? My kids will love the chocolate "moose" but my wife and I would like to try the s'mores. Is that just a special request or dinner item dessert? I have seen it in pics but not on the menu.

I'm sorry but the chocolate moose that I get whenever we eat there (and we go there every trip) does not look like that at all. It is still the rolled chocolate moose with the cookie tongue and antlers, but as far as the nose and eyes, they are not blue berries and raspberries, instead it has always been M&Ms. I don't think I have ever seen whiskers either on mine. I wonder if they have changed it since September. To the OP, they also have the Creme Brulee and the S'mores. Other than that, not sure what they have.

That is the chocolate moose we first fell in love with several years ago when we first ate at Le Cellier. Those fresh berries were divine! Now the moose is much smaller, and more cheaply made with M&Ms. Unfortunately ...

 According to the rest of your post, most of the moose looks the same, but the whiskers are removed and the blue eyes and red nose have been replaced by something else that's blue and red. Sounds like the moose you had looks very similar to what I found on google, just with some little cutbacks that the average guest won't notice.

Anyway, I thought the chocolate moose was horrible. Tasted like a heavy pudding instead of a light, airy mousse.

I'm sorry, I was just surprised by the picture you posted, I wasn't sure if they changed it since the last time we were there. There is nothing wrong with the one you posted, didn't mean to sound so confusing :flower3:

I not only noticed, but was extremely disappointed. Replacing fresh blueberries and raspberries with M&Ms is soooo ... cheap! I also think the mousse doesn't taste as good as before either. The guests who've never had the original moose wouldn't know any differently though, which is just as well they don't know what they're missing.

Yup - thats what he looks like - I liked the mousse!

For lunch you can get the "Moose", Chocolate Whiskey Cake, Canadian Maple Creme Brulee and something that is suger meringue mound with creme in the middle sitting in a fruit sauce - VERY sweet (had it in Oct).

I think that kids could order a make your own ice cream sundae and there might have been a cheesecake but don't quote me!
