Ok I was on another board and someone reported that the inside the magic podcast had reported that LeCellier was closing - now does anyone know if this is for a rehab or is this for good? I am dying - I love this place- I think she mentioned it was posted someplace else too:sad2:

alfredo's is.

this is the first i would have heard about le cellier, but not the first incorrect rumor i've heard of it.

Taken from allears-- "Le Cellier in Epcot's Canada pavilion will be closed May 14-17, 2007, for a brief rehab."

we will be there when they are closed for rehab, they were booked on mothers day so we decided to go to LTT instead but we got the last table for lunch the Sat we leave (19th) which is good b/c we LOVEEEE le cellier!!

oh man...when the rehab was first announced, it was going to cover the whole week we were there...we didn't get to Orlando in time on the 13th, and they weren't going to open again until we were gone. Now the rehab ends on the 17th? Rats, too late to get an ADR :sad1: Ah well, we'll just have to try next visit.

if it ends on the 17th you may want to try & call to see if they have anything open, we were flexable with our ADRs so I think if you happen to be they might squeeze you in, its worth a shot if u love to eat there!!

It's about time. That place needs a thorough airing out IMHO. :)

No way Le Cellier is closing any time soon. It's Epcot's #1 restaurant, booking months in advance and it's the #3 most popular dining location on property. I don't forsee a closure within the future at all.

What is #1 and #2?

I don't think they are closing, the operators who take reservations confirm this is one of WDW most popular restaurants next to CRT. Which by the way, we couldn't get into for our trip in a couple of weeks. Even Le Cellier, no dinner openings were available for the entiree week we are down there. We luckily got an early lunch opening (before noon) the day we have to leave. I'm hoping it's worth it.
